I run power and data thru them
I run both power (24vdc) and data (WS2811) thru them and they seem to work great. No drop outs or voltage loss I can detect.

Clearing Up some Confusion in Some Reviews
Very good product. The rotating parts rotates very easily and well built. Relatively quick shipping. Definetly would buy again. However, there seems to be confusion as to power rating. There are 4 power ratings, 5, 10, 15 and 30. Each comes with a different wire gauge. The wire gauge for 5 amp is higher than for 15 amp. There are many options for the number of wires, each of which is available in one of the 4 power ratings. So you need to look at the options and pick one with a combination of the number of wires and the power rating you want. For example, I ordered the option of 4 wires and 5 amps. Another time I ordered the option of 3 wires and 15 amps.

Can handle high loads
Built an extension cord reel with 50' 10/3 wire; ran an abrasive chop saw and didn't trip, melt, or even heat up any components.

Building a carnival game
I am building the carnival game where you move a ring down a slowly spinning wire without triggering the alarm. This slip ring should do the job with little modification. The Taidacent Electrical Slip Ring is a reliable and versatile solution for transmitting power and signals across rotating interfaces. Available in various configurations, including 3 wires, 4 wires, and different current ratings (5A, 10A, 15A, 30A), this slip ring is suitable for a wide range of applications. Whether you're building a rotating display, robotics project, or industrial machinery, this slip ring provides stable and consistent performance. The compact design and durable construction make it easy to install and ensure long-term reliability. Overall, the Taidacent Electrical Slip Ring is a practical and cost-effective choice for your rotary transmission needs.

Hobby grade product - not worth the risk for shop tools
If this was for a hobby project, sure, I'd hang onto it and maybe find a use for it later in an Astromech or a super ultra fancy disco ball with lasers and beeps. For an extension cord reel in a shop, it's a hazard. 18 ga hookup wire is what's hanging out each side of this slip ring. Last time i checked, 14ga was what was required for 15 amp service. Would it still work? Probably. Would I risk my shop vac or my track saw on a 'probably'? Frack no.
