This is the kind of book you will buy because you have a class that requires it, but you'll want to keep it because it's got so much good, USEFUL information. It should be the most used book in college English and business courses for its easy to read rules on using lots of common (and uncommon) words, phrases, parts of speech, punctuation, etc. An excellent reference book for students and teachers or ANYONE who writes or reads or speaks English. Very user-friendly and practically revision proof. Once you get this book, you won't have to replace it. This is the one book you can turn to in any English language crisis.

The book was exactly what I was looking for and matched with the class I'm taking now so I'm entirely grateful! Some markings on the inside but I really don't mind it .

Easy to read and understand. Better organization than most texts! I am having no problem following the information but I do work in the field. Is it current? For the most part, I could find more online via a search engine, but it is a required text for my abnormal psych course.
