Marimekko - Full Sheets, Cotton Percale Bedding Set, Crisp & Cool Home Decor (AJO Blue, Full)

I second the reviewer who said if you grew up with 100% cotton sheets, you will appreciate these.It seems harder to find 100% cotton bedding these days and I love everything Marimekko that I own.These are not thin or cheap feeling to me. They feel much softer to me than scratchy Poly blend sheets I bought and returned. I spurlged a little for these because they are so cute and will look great in my red and white guest room.

All my bedding is Marimekko. I love the way the duvet sets I buy all coordinate. I was worried that these sheets wouldn’t fit over my deep pocket sleep number mattress but they work perfectly. I love the way they look and feel. My other Marimekko has worn like iron so I’m optimistic. I’d love to get another set and highly recommend these!

This is my first time buying this brand of sheet. I was very delighted by how breathable and comfortable these sheets have been. I am a awful sweater when I sleep this parcle fiber did the job!! I just ordered another set sheet but was disappointed when they arrived. I ordered the Red Floral and got the Ajo black. So I exchanged them and waiting to see if they get the color right this time. I'm looking forward to order more in the near future from this merchant.

These sheets look and feel GREAT. They are very hard to find, so I probably won't be able to find them any more. Wish I had bought more.

UPDATE!Months ago, I wrote the glowing review below for a previous purchase of Marimekko floral sheets — which I still love.However, the black & white stripe sets I purchased are horrible!I bought multiple sets of the flower pattern and love them.Afraid that these fantastic cotton sheets would be discontinued, I purchased multiple sets of the stripes so I’d have a set to use now, and a few new sets for back-up. (See below; I know I’m obsessed!)Sooooo… I finally decided to put a set of the stripes on my king bed, so did what I always do: washed a set by themselves in cold water with a minimal amount of dye-free, scent free detergent in front-loader — followed by a medium heat tumble in dryer.THE RESULT WAS HORRIBLE! Every piece had color bleed and —- this is something I’ve never seen before — big ugly blotches of dots and smudges, too.. The white stripes are now a mottled dirty-looking dingy gray and the splotches are on everything — flat sheet, fitted & both pillowcases.I got a NEW set out of the package to show the difference — which looks much worse in person.White is a tough color to photograph, but the difference is unmistakable.These are going back — now I should probably wash another new set and see if it happens again.Unfortunate — because I really thought I had found the perfect percale sheets.________(review below was written for previous purchase, different pattern)I’m rather picky when it comes to bed linens; I only buy 100% cotton and like a crisp percale.The weight of the fabric is very nice. If you like Ralph Lauren all cotton percale sheets, you’ll like these...although they don’t have the smooth sheen and crispness of RL cotton sheets.What I like best: they are surprisingly wrinkle free. I often iron my cotton sheets, but the 4” border of the flat sheet and pillow cases stays flat after washing, so I don’t feel compelled to iron these like I normally would. The fabric is a lot smoother and feels great if you do take the time to steam iron.The weight of the cotton percale won me over and I’ve bought multiple sets of these sheets. I think they will get better with age after they’ve been washed a lot. I wish there was a duvet cover in the stripe pattern.If you like a heavier sheet like vintage Martex, or similar, you’ll like these. I don’t find them rough — but they aren’t the silky smooth sheen of high thread count, but I like a durable cotton that improves with age.

Considering the cost of these sheets you can imagine my disappointment when the colors bled upon the first wash following the provided care instructions. Outside of this the sheets are nice, soft and they fit our deep mattress well. Overall not worth the price point in my opinion.

Definitely recommend. Good quality, comfortable sheet set.

Il completo di lenzuola è stato un regalo che è piaciuto molto. Ho preso anche quelle a righe, a parte, come suggerito dall’immagine online, e ci sta benissimo. È stata una bella sorpresa trovare Marimekko in Amazon!

Unfortunately I thought the colour might be a very dark blue but now upon research it is black and white not blue and white. Unfortunately I was away and it was opened etc so have to live with it but wasnt good enough for the cost.
