I meant to buy the alcohol free so I could use it on my dogs teeth but I bought the wrong one so I’ll be using it for myself and buying another one for them. This one seems to be very potent. I tried a dab and it’s definitely got a strong herbal flavor. Not terrible tasting but not sure how I’ll be taking it yet. May just try it on my teeth for the heck of it.

***UPDATE***I have to say that even with the horrible taste and strong alcohol flavor, this WORKS. I bought a few other brands that had reviews stating the flavor was good and the effects were strong (alcohol free products) - they didn't relieve the pain in it's entirety like this did. If you can get past the nasty flavor and alcohol in this, it's an effective product!ORIGINAL REVIEWI cracked a molar while on holiday in the US. I went to a dentist in the states and found that I needed a root canal that would cost over 2kUSD. In the EU the cost is around 500€. So I bought this propolis to treat the tooth until I returned home and it really helped with the pain. Two downsides to this product are the spout (mine didn't have a dropper) so it was very hard to apply to my back molar. Other is the unpleasant taste with strong alcohol flavor.

Very poor quality propolis. Have given it a go for a few months and each time I use it topically it is clear it has no effect. Just smelly liquid that has no therapeutic properties. For example. When i use real propolis on a cut it heals overnight. I use this and it heals as fast as an empty bandage does.

I should have looked closely at the image of the box to see that its first ingredient is ethanol alcohol. This cannot be used for topical use or for people with alcohol intolerance, e.g., children. I was intending to use this as a topical treatment, but, of course, the alcohol burns like the dickens!Bummer.
