🌊 Keep the flow, block the mess!
The New Pig Sediment Filter Sock is a highly efficient solution for erosion control and storm drain protection, measuring 5 inches in diameter and 10 feet in length. Its flexible design allows it to adapt to uneven ground, making it ideal for various applications including storm drains, construction sites, and property perimeters. This filter sock eliminates the labor and expense associated with traditional staking or trenching methods, providing a cost-effective and eco-friendly barrier against sediment and debris.

expensive but great
I had a swimming pool installed in my backyard and it left me with some exposed red clay areas that were eroding to my neighbors yard due to rain until the sod and landscaping was put down. Although expensive, these worked great. They held back any further erosion. They have enough weight that they stay put were you drop them. But to make sure I added 12" wooden stakes just in case. They were theere for 6 weeks and no more issues.

Works GREAT!
Much more effective than the traditional erosion control fabric with stakes. Mud and water just pass under the staked fabric, whereas these Pig Sediment Socks lay right on the ground and filter the muddy water from construction site runoff in a rainstorm. Mud settles out and builds up behind them, which further improves their filtering. In a huge downpour, some muddy water gets by, but nowhere near as much as with the traditional screen and stake method.

Good choice for our needs.
We have steep slopes on our property. We placed these in a trench we dug on the slope and placed wooden stakes on either side. We then planted vinca vine to grow over the “sock”. It should eliminate concerns with possible erosion.

Does the job!
Easy to use and does the job. We use it at the bottom of our hill to prevent mud flow into our pool and it works well.

Works great!
We are using this to keep our sand from eroding during heavy rainstorms. We are pleased so far with the results!

protects driveway drain from leaves
I have a long driveway with a moderate grade down to the house with no shortage of tree's. Between branches, leaves, and nuts or the shells of nuts by my ravenous squires the patency of my solo driveway drain is under constant threat. Since surrounding the drain with this device my drain has worked great. Not being sure how long this barrier would retain its filtering capacity I have tucked a length of weed barrier cloth around it and just remove the cloth and hose it down and rewrap it again. This works great!

Works great to drain water without washing debris into drain
There is a low area in my yard that floods with heavy rain. I had French drains installed, but dirt washed into the drains and debris collected on the drain grates, impeding the flow of water down the drains. The Sediment Filter Sock by New Pig works perfectly to let water drain while stopping dirt and leaves from reaching the drain. I'm ordering another one for the other French drain.

Works perfect!
Works perfect, no need to stake it down has enough weight to hold it place. Stopped my erosion problem!
