How to Catch Santa

Brilliant! We used in year 2 class as a more complex Christmas story text and the children loved recreating their own instructional text on ‘How to Catch Santa.’ Thanks!

Great book to read in the run up to Christmas and we did a lot of the things in it.

My toddler loved the story. We have the entire collection. A bit silly but perfect for young imaginations.

Kids loved this book. They did not however succeed in catching Santa. Next year.

This version is smaller with durable"cardboard" pages - a surprise but I was thrilled to find it in print and we (my 7 year old granddaughter and I) love it. I am so pleased that she could read it with just a little help from me. The present first grade (where she has been for one month) compares in difficulty to my second grade. She liked looking for the two elves whenever Santa was on a page. We already have "how to babysit a Grandma" and the one about training? a mother-- both large size hard cover, paper pages. She said she liked that form a little bit better.

My kids (4&6) enjoyed this story, especially for bed time its a really good book to keep them from getting overly anxious about the big beard guy with the red suit’s arrival, gave 4 stars because unfortunately now they are motivated to make a plan to catch the guy! Lol!!

This is such a fun book! We do a Christmas advent box of books where the kids pick a different Christmas book to read each day of December. Once this book was picked and read, they wanted to read it every night along with the other book they picked that night. They loved it that much! It's a cute little story.

Bought this for my granddaughter (a book lover) with plan to read it to her the day before Xmas. Much to my surprise, she did not want to learn about catching Santa. She said she didn't want to do anything that might steer him away or cause him to shorten his delivery. It's still a cute book though, and Grandpa loved it!

It’s a cute book and made me laugh but then I decided this is not a good idea for a kid because I wouldn’t want them writing me riddles or staying up to catch Santa putting out presents. It’s cute if they are older but not young.

I already have a few other "How To" books by this and love them! We do a How To writing unit in my first grade classroom and these are wonderful models to use and keep the students interested! After reading this book, they wrote their own ideas for How To Catch Santa. We all loved it. Recommend!

Always get holiday books for my grandchildren in December but finding books for my 4th grader AND his first grade brother is difficult. This book held the attention of both - the fourth grader loved reading all the little letters while the first grader just loved the story.

Cute book and story. The illustrations are lovely. I gave this book to my niece as a gift and she loved it. The story is a great for the nights leading up to Christmas and helping other would be santa-catchers get some ideas :)A friend looked at the book as well (after the gift opening) and ended up going and buying it for her nephew.

Adorable book! Attractive photos, hardcover with dust jacket. Very cute story - my 6 year olds love it!

My boys loved this book! It was really cute and lots of laughs were had. The illustrations are really cute and go well with the story. We'll definitely be pulling this one out every year to read. :)
