Smart Watering Mat for Raised Garden Beds 30-Day Irrigation Refills with Rain for Gardens, Tomato Plants, Flowers (2-Pack)

Got 2 sets of these for our 4’ x 6’ planter by our front door. I’m not here to water them as needed, and they maintained the moisture for about a month, and weren’t dried out, yet. Well worth the cost to not lose plants from drying out and dying.

I bought a set of these last summer to try in my veggie garden. It was a very hot and dry summer for my area and I was pleasantly surprised that the tomatoes around these mats needed very little supplemental water. I initially soaked each mat in a 5 gallon bucket and they plumped up beautifully. What little rain we got was enough to keep them "charged" and keep my soil moist. My beds are only 3' wide, so I just put these down the middle and planted on either side. Yes, you do lose a little planting space, but it was well worth it for me.

I use these to put along my tomato plants. I don’t have to water so it saves time and money. Nature waters the bags. My plants have never been so big.

The concept is good. The "water holding" granules were skimpy, about 1/8 of a dry cup in each bag. No way these bags would supply water to plants for 30 days esp in 90+ temps and drought. We had a storm burst yesterday brought 1 1/2 inch of rain. I turned the bags to the facing fabric side to absorb the rain. Did not capture much water, just enough for a couple of gelatinous blobs I could feel inside. I had puddles in the driveway with more water. I think these were overpriced. They are not made of any particularly unique materials, and had insufficient part of the important water storage crystals. The concept is worth following, just didn't work for me.

Saved my landscaping during one of the hottest and driest summers on record. Much bigger than they look. Highly recommend.

I love this product but I have it on a slight angle which means that it can mostly focuses on the plants in front of it Peppers behind are still tiny while the tomatos in front are frying. Next year I will plant on a flat surface and try again. Otherwise it works very well for its intended use. Thank you for this product.

Went away for two weeks…even though it was very hot and dry, these mats were just as full as I left them (had contact with soil). My plants were extremely dehydrated. Tree bags are way more effective.RETURNED. Waste of money + effort.

We followed the instruction for installing the watering mat, but after 3+ weeks, the water inside the mat is still there and no water is defusing out for my plants.
