Great manual. Easy to follow instructions and the tasks are assigned a difficulty rating that allows you to determine what you should, and should not, attempt based on your mechanical skills. I purchsed the manual for a specific problem I was having and was able to correct it using the information from the manual. Also goes into detail about how the basic systems (electrical, cooling, etc.) work in an outboard. Well worth the money if you do any of your own outboard repairs or maintenance.

As soon as I received this book I was out in the garage with my boat. This book tells you everything from winterizing to rebuilding your outboard. Bought it to save money on small repair instead of taking to a boat shop. This book will stay with me for as long as I have my 2 cycle outboard.A plus about this books contents is that it will tell you what skill level you should have before you try a repair.

There was no disclaimer in the original description of this item (There was no mention that it covered only models through 2005. It stated it covered models through 2009). This was not what I received. I also blame Amazon as I had to pay postage to return it. This was clearly a misrepresentation. I know that I am just one minuscule customer in the grand Amazon but I expected more from Amazon in protecting my interests. Note: I kept the item rather than pay return postage.

The book is advertised years 2001 through 2014 but is actually years 2001 through 2009. The book is very informing but very few pictures and the pictures it does have are not very clear. If you are the type person that needs visual aid (a lot of pictures) this book is not for you.

Good book but covers a lot of different models so it take a while to really find what you are looking for.

To keep the son-in-law happy we gave him this for his birthday. Not my cup of tea. but he thinks it is great. I guess it is a boy thing.

A good informative book. Just about all the info you may need. You may have to "read between the lines" here and there but the book has alot of valuable information.

I'm a mechanic by trade and have looked through many manuals and this is the first one that has had pages fall out. This manual was not bound correctly. Was hoping to keep this manual forever but more likely until it falls apart.
