I am very happy with this table and the stools. I was looking for a counter height table for small space and this is perfect. The product is very heavy and sturdy and I particularly love the shelves. I find the stools large, comfortable and sturdy. I put it together by myself, as I enjoy doing such things and have put together many other furniture pieces. BTW I am a woman in my mid-60s. The only difficulty was with the 14 small screws that are used in the brackets for the shelves (12) and in support pieces under table (2). The instructions are in photos only and were a little unclear but I eventually figured it out. There are no little holes started for the screws, so I first marked on the shelves where they went when in position and then hammered a small nail partially in, making it easier to screw in the screws thru the bracket with a Phillips screwdriver. This likely would not be necessary if you are using a drill with a magnetic head. Hope this makes sense 😁 All in all I am very happy with my purchase.

Just buy it!!! Don’t let the negative reviews deter you. It came sooner than expected which was a nice surprise. The box was a little battered as expected but the extra careful packaging ensured no damage to the actual table or chairs. Unless you can push, pull, or carry 109lbs make sure you have someone to help you. The unboxing was harder than actually putting the table together. It took me about 3 hours by myself. It seemed overwhelming at first but once started it’s not too bad. The instructions could be better but I managed. It would have been helpful if the screws were labeled with letters like in the instruction booklet. You’ll have to match the picture and measurements which takes more time. The table fits perfectly in my tiny kitchen. The chairs are attractive and surprisingly sturdy. I’m petite while my husband is a big guy and the chairs are comfortable for the both of us. I love the addition of the shelf on the side that provides storage which you don’t get with most of the other sets. This is a very sturdy and extremely attractive set. It looks expensive for a fraction of the price. Overall it was completely worth it! Just buy it!!!

I am so happy with this table and stool set. I have a larger size of this from Ashley furniture (ordered on Amazon) in my office and loved the quality of it, and wanted to replace a table and four chairs in my breakfast nook that are too big. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. As others have commented it is not difficult to put together, but you really need to look at the directions carefully, and the small screws that go in to hold up the shelves and connect the t-bar on the table do not have pre driilled holes. We lined them up and marked them with marker, and my husband predrilled the holes. made it much faster. Great purchase. very satisfied.

This table was perfect in my small kitchen. It was easy to put together. I love the colors of this table! Looks amazing!! The price was great!

Rather than re-iterate what others have said, let me give you a few things you might not know about this piece: This is not hardwood, but rather a composite engineered wood, sort of like compressed sawdust. It is strong and resilient to warping, but like flooring made of a similar material, it will not play well with moisture or water. The wood graining and stain color is pleasant, but it will scratch off. Again, like similar flooring products, if you move your computer monitor across the top, or your dog scratches the leg, it will scratch the finish and simulated wood grain right off. You should consider a pad, thick tablecloth, or desk pad. If you have a basic knowledge of putting stuff together (you know to use both ends of a hex-wrench/Allen wrench, you own a punch awl and know what it is, you know how to change a drill bit, tat level of knowledge), then the table and shelves will take you 50 minutes to build and each stool will take you 25 minutes to build. When you build the table and stools, do yourself a huge favor and do it on a countertop, workbench, etc., where you do not have to bend down to the floor for almost two hours. Important: The width between the table legs is 30 inches...BUT, because the shelves stick underneath the table, they take up space. They are 6 inches deep. I put a tape measure on the table for you, and your actual sitting area beneath the table is 24 inches. Honestly, if you are a big person or have wide thighs, it might be tough to sit at this table and put your legs underneath. Study the photos and measure your legs to imagine how this will feel. The shelves are integral to the structure of the table, and some hex screws go into the shelves, so there is no way to construct this table without the shelves. There is a "T" cross bar beneath the table that is great for resting feet gently on while sitting at this table; it is not robust enough to stand on. This is truly for two people, and if a third wished to eat at the table they could pull up a chair to the end but the top space will be cramped. The two people sitting opposite each other one another could try to move over a bit to give that third person, sitting on the opposite side of the shelves, some room but, alas, they cannot because of the shelves. Honestly, if this did not have shelves and was just a table of this size, it would give the two people more leg room, and would more easily allow a third, and even a fourth, person to sit at the table. I would not buy it again with the shelves, personally. The shelves are robust and will hold even books. They are 8.5 inches tall, 23 inches wide, and 6.5 inches deep. They are held up by four shelf brackets per shelf, and are not adjustable for height between shelves. Floor to top of table is 36 inches (counter height), so you will need taller stools than those provided if you plan to use this table routinely/daily. The table and two stools were shipped in a single large and very heavy box! Two people are needed to move it up stairs or long distances; one person can move it is they are sliding it or if they take pieces out to lighten the load. One person alone can construct this table, however. Hope you have fun with this table, and that this review aided you.

This is the cutest little table! We are absolutely thrilled with this purchase. It’s really heavy, sturdy and well made. The chairs are stable and the cushions are nice and thick. The top of the table is made very well and looks great. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a little table to fill a small space!

I've been looking for a while for a small bistro set and found this. It's got great, light colors and seats sit under table so it's perfect for a small area. No problem putting it together and it's pretty heavy duty. It's a great height for us because we're tall and the stools are comfortable. It came well packed and no dents or dings and had everything we needed to put together. I would definitely buy another for my daughter. I highly recommend!!

This set is very visually appealing. Classy and elegant to appease the eyes. Both stools have cracked and will soon be broken and useless. For the price, the quality is not there for the stools.

Came damaged and wasn’t obvious until it was assembled and most parts didn’t align so the table and stools were tippy. I haven’t even had the table set assembled and the stools broke immediately. Because it’s assembled I’ve been told I have to pay for shipping. This has been an awful experience and having it replaced isn’t even an option (not that it’s been offered) but the product is no longer available.
