Designed for people who actually backpack
Why didn't anyone think of this sooner? The flat side is so common sense - it sits flat on your back, instead of feeling like a football filled with water on your back. Nice wide opening that is easy to close - no fussy lids trying to line up the arrows, it just easily screws on. Big rigid handle makes it easier to fill from the faucet or when you're filtering water into it, and there's a hook to hang it upside down when you're done so it dries out. Only negative is the end you drink from - water comes out in 2 little streams, not much flow. I may switch that out for a regular Camelbak one that flows better. Otherwise, I've gotten these in both sizes available, and this went through a rim-to-rim hike of the Grand Canyon, including filtering from streams, with no issues. Great bladder.

This is the best hydration backpack
I have had at least 5 hydration packs. This one is the best and here is why. It lays flat against your back. It doesn’t not have a flat balloon shape. It has a flat side that is majored by a baffle in the middle also keeps water Fulton sloshing back and forth while dancing at festivals or on hikes. The hose is quite long. You can cut it to length. It comes with an optional magnet to put on your chest strap. This is a must. You don’t want your mouthpiece is so far guys armpit beside you at a festival. In that note but the optional and addition mouth piece cover. It’s worth it and also works well. The mouth bite piece works very well. It has a valve that also works well. No leaking and holds a vacuum. The hose unsnaps so you can remove just the bag from your backpack. It doesn’t have that zip top thing many have. I’m OK with this on my second favorite, a Platypus, but if you want to use at a festival, and you are less than sober and in a line, the screw top is mandatory. The bag also has a nice handle to hold it from while your filling it.It has a hook to hang from when it’s drying. It’s very well thought out.

Great bladder
Gregory thinks of everything! I used to use Camelbak bladders but this blows them out of the water (pun intended). I love the detachable hose, the mouthpiece with stop, and the hanging hook for drying. The handle also makes filling this bladder a breeze. 10/10 would recommend!

Great for hiking!
Took this on hikes through a national park for about 5 days. The taste of plastic never really went away but if you fill the bladder with cold water you won’t notice the taste as much.I purchased the bite valve cap separately and that was a good investment. Don’t understand why it doesn’t just come with the bladder. Whenever you put you backpack down you won’t need to worry if your mouthpiece is going to touch the ground or anything else dirty. So if you buy this bladder, buy the cap too!The only time the bladder leaked a little was because I screwed the main bladder cap on at an angle that wasn’t completely flush with the opening. Just screw that straight on and there shouldn’t be leaking.

Great bladder but flow is a little slow
I'm impressed with this bladder, and like its rigidity and filling system. The mouthpiece doesn't let water flow as quickly as I'd like (it's slower than other bladders I've used in the past). Other than that, I'd highly recommend this.

Seems great, love the shape
I've only used this for a few weeks so far so I can't speak for durability. The junction between the hose which is connected to the bladder, and the hose which runs to the sipping end, seems like it could come apart accidentally. It doesn't seem to click or lock in. Other than that everything seems very sturdy. The shape makes it easy to fill from a squeeze filter, and easy to dry out thoroughly when you get home. After the first day or so I didn't notice any negative taste.

Failed on me after 13 months
Prior to this I had a Camel Back bladder that lasted me, no joke almost 20 years. I did my research and based on good reviews decided on this one. I’ve used it 10-12 times, I clean it after every use and make sure that it’s dry before storing it. Unfortunately the seal at the top where the cap screws on failed and now it leaks. Otherwise, I wasn’t a huge fan of the mouthpiece, I just prefer the camel back style

Great bladder
No issues with rubbery or plastic tasting water. Big mouth for easy fill. Carried my water all over Glacier and Grand Teton national parks (ok, not ALLLLLL over) without a single issue. The only thing I wish they’d change was a way to add water through the drinking tube. I know it’s a failure point, but I really like true bladders that allow you to slap on an adapter and pour water from the water bottle into the bladder
