The description says this should be mounted on a 3/4 in pipe but one review says 1 inch pipe. Which is correct?

3/4” pipe is a little over 1” diameter. Pipe size refers to the inside of the pipe.

Does this product come with a guide for winds speed? Need to know approximate speed as well as direction.

No is does not. It will swivel to the direction of the wind. But will not indicate wind speed.

Exactly what was expected but better..

The media could not be loaded. I live on a rural area on top of a mountain where we have wind/breeze always , sometime pretty severe.I received my 8in X 36 in windsock and have to say immediately as I was pulling the sock out of the box I noticed that the sock and metal bracket was nicer than I was expecting.As I mentioned because of my location, it's always nice to look out the kitchen window and instantly know what the wind is doing even though it's perfectly blue sunny skies or otherwise. I have had a couple when socks at this point and never thought in a million years that I would use one of these as a visual tool to gauge my outdoor conditions as much as I do now. Love it so far ! Just put it up yesterday. Video was taken today during a pretty breezy day up here ... gusts up to 35 mph ... Would recommend to anyone looking for what appears to be a very nice , high quality windsock !

Well built great color

Bought as a novelty for the top of my building which I call the hanger. Easy to install with 3/4 inch threaded pipe I bought at Lowes and looks great.Looking forward to hurricane season here in Florida to give it an extreme test.

The weight of the material is way too heavy, but might hold up well in the hurricane it takes to move it.I regret purchasing it.

Faded qui kly for claiming UV nylon. Material has many rips on top after a couple years.

I have to modify this frame to be indicate wind direction in low wind conditions. The grommets aren't placed very well for this frame and it could use 1 on the very top. It lasted about 2.5 years-the topside has alot of rips in it. Not very UV resistant as claimed, it has faded real bad
