Unfortunately i made the mistake of thinking my tank was under 1.2cm as stated,its actually 1.4cm so adapted a piece of dowel to help support it over the tank.My tank is 180l and so far on the hottest day of the year kept the temperature down even on the low speed,noise level is acceptable.Remember to remove the lid if possible and keep lights to a minimum to reduce the temperature and use an airstone, will help, i only say this to help other new users.

Good idea to keep the tank cool but wouldn't fit my main tank so I had to put where the spray bar goes so just means I have to keep an eye on it and or may just keep it on low setting so could of just been a bit thicker to fit my main tank

Got this to cool my axolotl and honestly it’s drops the temperature by about 2 degrees which is perfect for me. I’ve found using on the lower setting works best for some strange reason….I’d like it better if it had a full 90 degree of motion but doesn’t go higher than 45 so will be blowing direct on to your water ( be mindful if you have duckweed or trying to avoid water currents)If you have thin glass like I do you’ll find it’s VERY EASY TO ROUND OF THE SCREWS. I now only have one the actual tightens the other just spins. Over all good product does the job just be mindful of the downsides

Nice three fan system can fit most size tanks due to the screw system and stand that fits on the edge of the tank. I got this installed with a temperature sensor plug with probe that switches on if a set temperature is exceeded and switches off when that is lowered. It has three speeds off low and high. It is quite noisy on high a bit better on low but not having it on constantly it is acceptable for emergency backup if the tank gets to hot due the summer and room temperature is high

This sadly came with a broken pin which made it extremely awkward to use. Had to push something non-conductive into the earth port to be able to plug it in. Was awkward to get the angles right and although I measured my tank the fitting was poor and the items measurements weren't as accurate as could be. Quality overall made me return it.

I’ve had this for a while so I can truly tell my experience. Great value for money, I was tired of using ice cubes (with dechlorinated water of course) for my fish tank, especially during the hot days, now I just turn this thing on and boom! Cold water! The changes in temperature are gradual enough to to not stress the fish. The thickness is okay, would prefer it thinner, for visual pleasure but it does the job perfectly. Easy to install and take off. Could fit it on different thickness of tank glasses so that’s good.
