Great deal for a dvd set !!!!

Muddled who done it. Bought the DVD because WGN did not post all the episodes on ONDEMAND. They were deciding whether or not to have a season 2, in the meantime, one of the lead actors passed away. Good series, not great.

We had to buy a all region Blu ray DVD CD player to watch it again. It was worth it.

Enjoyed this series very much - disappointed that there will be no season two.

I cannot comment on this CD. I watched the first show on TV and liked what I saw. In the show, which is quite gruesome because of the unusual way the killer kills, a US detective believes that a serial killer began to kill in Sweden and then did so in the US, and then returned to Sweden to commit more murders. He goes to Sweden in the hope to capture him. The detective has a collection of problems - such as air sickness and sea sickness and is not very gracious or forthcoming with the Swedish cops - but is very perceptive.

Movie was suspenseful and riveting. I couldn't wait or next weeks show.

I thought this was brilliant and cannot understand the poor reviews and I have high standards and often give up on a series quite early.The downside is that I would say about 50 per cent is subtitled.The only scenes in English are the scenes with the American detective.Because there are so many layers to the plot I would say he is only in about 50 per cent of the scenes.I bought it not realising it and when I saw it was subtitled I nearly gave up because I find them hard to read.It is even worse as the subtitles are in white and often they are on a light background so I struggle to read them.But it says a lot that I continued to watch it.It is totally engrossing.The sub plots add to it.I would say there is nothing predictable about it.The two main detectives are different but have a great chemistry.The supporting cast are all brilliant and considering there is only one actor on it I know this is an achievement.It reminds me of The Tunnel so if you like that give it a go.There are so many hyped series that are rubbish I dont understand why this doesnt appeal.I have varied taste.Give it a go.Even if you dont luke subtitles it is worth it.But if you really struggle to read them then bear in mind there are a lot.I never go into plots because I think it spoils it and if you want that then other reviewers do that.I dont think there is a second series but it probably is better for that as it stands alone and and I think a second series would be a let down

This is a brilliant dvd. So glad I found it. Great acting and chemistry between the two leads and a thrilling story. What more can you ask for. The negative reviewers here must have watched a different film! So sad that Michael Nyqvist is no longer with us to do a follow up. Let's hope someone else can fill that role as it deserves another series.

This dvd is excellent, the acting of both main characters is great. Once we started watching the dvd we had to keep going as each part of the series finishes with a cliff hanger. Hope they bring out another series. Would highly recommend this dvd

Poor drama and script was shockingly dull. Trying too hard to be "The Bridge" (or similar) and fails spectacularly.
