Great quality
Used this button for my PC power button/power light, drilled a hole into my desk. Had to create my own harness, but the wiring instructions were simple to understand.

Excellent switch with flexible wiring options
The LED can be operated independent of the circuit controlled by the switch. In my application the momentary switch activates a trigger circuit for a light controller in my RV. Once triggered, the light controller stays on until a timer turns it off. I wired the LED to stay on as long as the controller is active.

Solid
The throw action is very solid and has a nice momentum feel to it. Those click action is also nice and noticeable. The switch fits into the socket well and the wires appear to be very good. Better feel than some of the other switches I tested. Electrical connections on the back are flexible enough to make several different types of switch.

Great switch once you figure it out!
Other reviewers are 100% correct, the instructions are pretty bad. But once you get it figured out, you will be very happy with this momentary switch. It has a great positive feel to it and the body is nicely machined aluminum. The lead off of the back is nice and I like that you can disconnect the wiring from the switch. This particular switch was perfect for my application because I wanted to avoid any accidental use of the switch. Here is the use case that I was working with. I needed a momentary switch to key the microphone for a communication radio. The leads from the radio head were two wires that when connected, keyed the mic. One wire, the black wire, had 5v of power. The other, a gray wire, had no power (of course...simple switch...connect the two wires together and it completes the circuit). To be completely clear, I wanted the LED to be lit all the time and I wanted the push of the switch button to compete the circuit, not interrupt an already powered circuit. Here is the wiring scheme that I used for powering the LED light (this is completely separate from the switch circuit):-Red wire on switch to a 12v keyed power supply.-Black wire to chassis ground. The wiring scheme for switching:-Blue wire on the switch to the black wire from the radio head with 5v of power.-Green wire on switch to gray wire to radio head which completes the circuit.*The yellow wire is not used for this configuration!I hope this helps you out!

Great product
I use them on a swamp buggy and they are in the rain and sun all day. It’s been 5 months with no problems. Just put a set in a extremely high vibration setting and they have been great. If you know what your doing. You can use it as a 2 way switch without using a relay etc.

Great Switch Poor Installation Instructions
Excellent switch, nice LED light. As some have noted wiring instructions leave a lot to be desired. I wired the switch so the LED only lights when the button is pushed. Here’s how: Green wire from switch to power supply, Blue wire from switch to device you are powering. If device(electric fuel pump used for priming in my case) is grounded switch will now power on device with no further wiring needed. The LED has it’s own circuit which is separate from the device circuit. To wire LED to light when button is pushed bundle the red wire from the switch with the blue wire that connects to device in the same butt connector(or whatever connector you’re using). Black wire from switch must then be grounded to frame of vehicle. I cut the yellow wire and taped the end to prevent unwanted contact. This simple description would have saved me half an hour and a blown fuse trying various wiring combinations .

Solid product
Button is nice and bright when connected to 5V, but can accept lower voltage for dimmer bulb. The bulb can be connected independently of the button switching circuit too. Metal is nice and shiny and adds clean aesthetic to my project. The terminal-to-wiring connector is incredibly handy for keeping things organized and the included instructions were relatively easy to follow.

This is a momentary switch which means it only works if you hold the button down
Don’t make the same mistake I did and read the description. Only works if you hold the button down if you want to return they charge you half the price of it to return it. Guess I have an extra switch laying around.
