Versatile Bowls
I wanted a set of nesting casserole bowls with tops and these were perfect. Plus they are made with borosilicate so they can go from refrigerator to oven using gradual warming in the oven. They work fine in the microwave. The three sizes allow for many uses. I can place an entire meal for two in the large casserole dish, a meat, a potato and a green which I purchase at my local gourmet market. The tops of deep enough that foods can be place in them for heating, too. For cleaning, I give a quick rinse in the sink and then into the dishwasher. A good purchase for the kitchen.

THE best glass baking bowls EVER!! Here’s why.....
For quite some time I was looking for a Pyrex round glass casserole with lid to replace what I had given my son. However I noticed in the reviews on Amazon that many that bought this well known brand had it explode in their ovens! I saw their pictures. Seems it’s the elements within the type of glass American manufacturing companies use now. Then a reviewer mentioned Simax which is made in Europe of elements that will NOT allow the product to explode. Ever. The element is mentioned in Simax’s description. Long word. Bought the set and wow am I pleased! So well made, nests all together, has heft, super easy to clean and still looks brand new after many uses. The three bowl set has been so useful. Of course you can use the bowls with lids for cold items or as a mixing bowl as well besides the oven. Plus these are made SO well that I’d never buy the Pyrex type baking bowls, meat loaf pans etc again! When you get Simax you’ll instantly understand. You may pay just a few dollars more, but they are worth it! They are made so well that you’ll have them for countless years from now. The product has a very, very light tinge of blue. You can see it in the product photo. I’ve been cooking/baking all my life and have also owned a successful Resturant. I wouldn’t steer you wrong. Don’t waste your money on the old name brand we are familiar with....they aren’t made the same anymore. The set is hands down far more superior! Zero regrets.

Worth the price
Fit the description and work well. The middle size is just big enough for my Chinese leftovers. Lids fit snugly. Microwave safe but still don't touch with hands. Leftovers are much fresher than leaving in the carton as my husband does. No odors go in or out. No plastic in my kitchen now.

Beautiful, sturdy, light, covered glass bakeware!
Great quality! Arrived in perfect condition, VERY well packaged. Made in Czech Republic! I'd much rather but from them than China. I was stationed near the Czech border, and their fine quality glass and crystal products are well known. One of my favorite buys this year. I am single, so these smaller covered baking dishes are perfect for me! But I will be looking for more Simax products. Nice variety!

Wish I knew about these earlier in life
No plastic microwave leakage in my food anymore! Never realized the name brand dropped this manufacturing process in 1952. Borosilicate glass is so non permeable that these dishesclean with mostly a rinse (without even scrubbing). Got a name brand coffee drip maker as a gift last Christmas made of this borocilicate glass and only rinse it with water after each use (and it remains crystal clear/like new) It never dawned on me I should eliminate cooking in the microwave with plastic lids and able to take these dishes from cold to hot to cook (without worry of breaking). Storage of the cooked food goes directly to the table and leftovers directly to refrigerator (same container)--so easy!
