NeilMed NasaMist All in One Multi Purpose Saline Spray, 6.3 Fl Oz

Been having the worst congestion for more than a month! This stuff does the job and is a lifesaver. I've been sick on and off for more than 2 months and using this even just one time made my nasal passages more clear than it has been in a long time. Just a word of warning be careful when you put on the attachments (the pressurized water will spray everywhere!!)

Great product but too expensive you can only get a few sprays out of it. If you can afford it it’s a good product

This really works and non irritating to use. I get sinus infections from time to time. Felt one coming on and started using this right away. Stopped the infection from happening immediately. This is more effective than the standard neti pots and other nasal rinses I’ve used.

During the worst of my seasonal allergies this does the job clearing my nasal passages and giving me the relief i desperately need. The multiple nozzles are helpful although i figure most people will pick one(like i did) and just use that one. Bear in mind there is a lot of fluid under pressure and getting the nozzle on and off can be slightly tricky at first without wetting the room and or yourself. Maybe try it in the shower the first time. Super easy to use, and powerful if you use the largest nozzle. Convenient for travel.

This product will completely open up your nasal passages. The product recommends you tilt down but a nurse practitioner advised I tilt up instead. I think this is the way to go.

I've used this product for probably 10 years now as I've always had sinus issues and it really helps clear my sinuses. But the past year the quality of this product has 100% went downhill. Out of 4 bottles I receive at a time, all of them will have an issue. The wash nozzle won't even fit correctly so either nothing comes out or it gets stuck and half the bottle comes out - wasting most of the very expensive product. Or like the one I have now - after using a few times the inside nozzle breaks and nothing will come of the bottle any longer - rendering it useless even though it's only half empty. I see there are many other saline rinses on the the market now so it's time to try a different brand. It seems they've either moved manufacturing to a facility that does it very cheaply or just have horrible quality control now. For how expensive these are, 90% of the bottles I get should not have an issue.

***WARNING: Amazon no longer accepts returns on this item as of 03/22/14.*** This is the best saline spray product on the market for nasal irrigation (I've tried them all). Why? Because of the "Large Volume Rinse Tip" included in the package. The unique shape allows you to do a full nasal rinse, just as you would with a Neti pot or NeilMed's Sinus Rinse Regular Bottle Kit , while other brands just allow you to moisturize your nasal passages. This is much more effective for removing allergens and gunk, and way more convenient than a Neti pot or a Sinus Rinse bottle. You can take it to work and rinse on the go. Ocean makes a similar product for nasal irrigation, Ocean Complete, Sinuse Rinse for Irrigation & Mist 1 ea , but the irrigation tip does not make a seal, and doesn't work nearly as well for irrigation. [Edit: this is no longer true. Ocean got wise to the competition and now includes a tip that makes a seal.] Since it comes in a sealed, pressurized bottle, there is no need for preservatives that can cause irritation for some people (me). Also, you don't have to boil any water to get rid of the brain-eating amoeba or other wee-beasties that could (if you are very very unlucky) be in your tap water, as you do with the other options. That said, this product has a few drawbacks. First, it is very expensive in comparison with a Neti pot or Sinus Rinse Bottle. Using the "Large Volume" tip, I only get about 10-15 uses out of it. The amount of water it holds is about the same as a single Sinus Rinse Bottle. I use it as a convenient alternative when I'm away from home or don't have time to use my Sinus Rinse Bottle. Second, about 1/3 of the cans I've bought (and I've bought quite a few) have been defective. Either they lack water pressure, or lose it quickly because the cap seal is bad. One even shot water into my nose like a machine gun (ouch). I've always been able to return the ones that were defective. Despite the flaws, I still buy these regularly. I'm giving it 4 stars because it is an innovative new product, and because I have hope that with time NeilMed will figure out a way to improve quality control. If enough people buy them I expect they will get cheaper as well. UPDATE 11/07/13: Since I wrote this review, the quality control seems much improved. It has been a year or so since I've received a defective can from Amazon or my local Walgreens. I'm upping my rating to 5 stars. UPDATE 03/22/14: Quality control seems to have slipped again. I have received defective cans from both Walgreens and Amazon in the past two months. Also, Amazon no longer accepts returns on this item, so I will no longer be ordering from here.

This stuff in the bomb!! I use the irrigation top and use each can 3-4 times for a short cleaning of the sinuses. This fights off sinus infections every time. Much better than going on antibiotics. I always wonder why more doctors don't recommend this type of product. Note: you do need to be super careful and gentle first time when you put the top on, push super gently otherwise you will waste product.

1st of all you actually get all 3 tips! That's amazing, I was not expecting that for the low price. If you have a chronic sinusitis like I do and/or a deviated septum you need a gentle rinse each day, and this is perfect. This is not a full irrigation system, this would be for maintenance or rinsing if you have a cold or your sinus are bothering you.

This product is expensive and they didn't care about quality control. it's pathetic. The can is defective. Please never buy this product otherwise you will repent

Other saline nasal sprays like Sterimar make my nose bleed. This spray doesn't, and it clears my nose quite effectively.
