Somethings are good; somethings could be better.
I just received this item and want to leave some first impressions. Positives: The information available in this package is wonderful and very portable. The video links also are useful, and videos are not available on similar cards by the competitor. It is very handy to organize and reference a variety of workouts in a very portable way. Negatives: the cards are normal card size, and information is written in a very small font and is limited to one side of nearly every card. It would be much better to have more information on both sides of each card, and to have a larger card size too. I don’t need another standard deck of playing cards with a label wasting half the available space on every card. I need to learn exercises—so better use of all the available space is needed. Also, the video links for demonstrating exercises are ridiculously short (less than ten seconds each)—and with no sound included or text on the video (very limited guidance on proper technique). Both newbies (and older adults with weaker eyesight) would probably like more information and more space for larger diagrams. The QR codes are very small too (it is hard to focus with a camera at first, but they work).Considering that the cards encourage use of technology with the included QR codes— the cards seem a bit dated or limited. A dedicated app is cheaper, provides much more instruction, has longer video demonstrations with each exercise, and has other features like lengthy trainings and workouts organized by mindlessly pressing a button..... But the cards do have advantages—a deck of cards contains more exercises than most apps, and the cards are more portable— and without the worry of your expensive technology sitting precariously near heavy moving weights and sweating bodies. The product is good but could be improved.

Amazing Work-outs with Kettlebells!
I started working out about one year ago. I was introduced to Kettlebells and really enjoy using them for strength training. I did not know a lot of exercises with kettlebells and wanted to learn more so I could work out at home, as well as at the gym with my trainer. I bought the Kettlebell 52 cards, and my trainer was even impressed by them! They are color coded by which muscle groups each works out, and they are additionally coded for level of difficulty = Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced! The cards give you visual/pictorial and written instructions for each exercise (one exercise per card), and give you a recommendation for how many reps to do! It's like having your own trainer in a box!!!!! I have since purchased an identical deck for my trainer, and the Expansion pack for myself (It has another 52 exercises with the kettlebells!). I highly recommend these cards to anyone wanting to get great work-outs every work-out!

Skip it and takes notes at your next kb class
I was somewhat surprised by these cards, in a bad way. If you are not a regular kettlebell user, please watch videos of the exercises. I am experienced, but I don't think jumping while performing swings is a good idea. There were a number of cards that I felt were dangerous. It seems like some of the cards were "phoning it in." For example, a push-up on a kettlebell isn't really optimizing kettlebell use. Also, the same exercise is used in multiple categories, so that's kind of a cheat. For such a big deck, it seemed like there were few choices in several categories. I absolutely wouldn't recommend this deck for beginners. If you are already trained in excellent kb form, maybe it would be ok, but you might be dissapointed.

Great Starter Tool!
I'd been seeing a lot about kettlebell workouts for a while, but I wasn't sure where to start. I finally took the plunge by purchasing a single 18 lb kettlebell and this deck of cards. I like that there are several levels of advancement so I can start safely but still have somewhere to move up to as I get stronger and more confident. The illustrations and descriptions are great, but the QR codes that took me to the short video demonstrations helped immensely. This is a really simple and convenient way to create a daily workout. Just shuffle the cards and pick out random exercises. I'm really enjoying using the kettlebell, and the cards make it a new workout every time. I think it would be most useful for beginners, but there are tons of intermediate and advanced moves too. Love the cards and highly recommend them. And btw, they're made in the USA! I love that too!

Makes designing a workout easy!
These kettlebell decks are my favorite decks from Stack 52, although I also really like the HIIT game which I’ve played many times with my teenaged son. I generally preselect the exercises for my workout and aIm for a variety of that targets all muscle groups. I use the timer function on my fitness watch or tablet along with the cards. I got bored by doing the same kettlebell routine all the time and these decks help me mix it up and keep my interest with only a couple minutes of planning.

I have tried several different workout systems with and without success that mostly needed a gym membership to participate in. When I moved and options were limited for me, I decided to try Stack 52 For use at home with some kettlebells I had been given. The problem that I have had with most workout systems is that I would get bored quickly and loose interest because it was mostly just the same thing again and again. Kettlebells and Stack 52 has switched that up for me. There are just so many different movements with kettlebells and the card element adds a unique variety for every workout as I shuffle and deal myself that days movements.I haven't tried the competitive or game element of the cards, but they do seem interesting and even entertaining.I really like the Stack 52 concept and it is keepin my interest going - so I believe I have found a solution for me, and would highly recommend others to try it for themselves!

They are perfect for my needs
I have been struggling to put together a varied routine at the gym recently. I had started taking several exercise books in with me, which was inconvenient and cumbersome. Then I discovered these cards. They are perfect for my needs. I also have the exercise ball set as well.I arrange the cards in a circuit, face down and just take one off the top and complete the recommended exercise. They have proved to be so successful for me, that I am going to purchase the body weight set as well to compliment my collection. The cards come in a box, and the exercises range from beginner, through intermediate to advanced, and you choose which one to perform according to your own level of fitness. The cards are the size of regular playing cards. They have a plastic feel to them, so feel to me that they would survive handling at the gym. At the top of the card is the name of the move, underneath that is a drawing of a person performing the move. Then you have a number and symbol from regular cards (such as 7 hearts, 3 diamonds etc.) the number of reps, and the fitness level: B, I, or A. Written underneath is a description of the move, and how to perform it. There are also QR codes that provide a link online for a video demonstration of the manoeuvre.I recommend these cards, they make a great addition to the 'work out' library.

Kettlebell workout cards
These cards are a useful introduction to the use of kettlebells at home or at the gym, but this pack is certainly NOT worth £24. The pack is somewhat smaller in reality to what it appears on the screen, and I have no idea how the £24 cost has been worked out. I have not yet used the online element of this package, and I hope to be impressed by that. Overall I cannot shake the feeling that this package is significantly over-priced for what it actually is.

Exceptionally clever, simple and fun
This is an absolutely GENIUS idea, but more importantly, excellently executed in the embodimentThe basic concept is simple; a deck of playing cards with kettlebell exercises on each (varying from beginner to expert), which you simply "deal out" to form a workout routine at random. You can of course "load the deck" if you're a beginner to select only the exercises for your level, but this still gives you a good variety of exercise within your ability.Cards are identified with colour coding of exercise target (for Cardio/ Legs/ Shoulders etc) and difficulty level (B for Beginner/ A for advanced etc) - and include the recommended number of reps for that exercise. Each card includes a pictorial depiction of the action as well as a brief description of how to do it, but where its extremely smart is that it includes a QR code to view a video demo so you can check the technique before you embark. The elevated concept however is where the thought that has gone into it really comes into its own; You can play the cards like an actual card game; each card has a value (e.g. 7 of clubs), so you can play a workout game with a partner or group - whether that be a game of pairs (collect the pair and do the exercises your pairs give you) or patience (e.g. Pyramids, where the cards that are left form your routine) - it introduces a fantastic point of variety. While part of the fun of this is being able to devise your own way to play, the website has a range of suggestions should you want to get some tips.I bought my kettlebells with a DVD which honestly was terrible, so Ive been using a very limited routine and been looking for something to improve this - and these cards have hit every mark I could wish for. Id give them 10 stars if I could!

Great idea
I like using these cards as it generates plenty of variation in your workouts without having to do any planning. A challenge for me would to be to go through all the cards in 1 session, but I cannot see that happening any time soon, but that's one of my goals. Covers all the body parts and cardio. I use these to do a quick Hitt session, you never know what's coming next so it keeps you on your toes. Really like these cards. If you have a kettle bell but not sure what to do, try these cards, you will not be disappointed. There is also a web site with more info and there is an email where you can contact the makers if you need any help.

My muscles are not thanking me.
I have the HIIT game from Stack 52 but find the box a little too big to take to the gym with me, but we have fun at home playing games. On the strength of the HIIT game I decided to pick up a few of their other sets. Love the endless possibilities of using these. Not disappointed and was asked by another gym goer where I picked these up from.
