I was interested in this book as it gives a history of my husband’s family history. I enjoyed it and felt the author covered the material well. It would be if most interest to those looking for background on the Ringling family in Montana.

For true aficionados of the Ringling history, this is an indispensable reference. In addition to John Ringling's activities in Montana, it covers in detail those of his nephew Richard Ringling, and grand nephew Paul Ringling. What started as a circus in Baraboo, Wisconsin had far-reaching effects across the country. It's a fascinating look at the echoes of the Greatest Show on Earth.
