Mr. Heater MH9BX-Massachusetts/Canada approved portable Propane Heater

I picked up the Mr. Buddy Heater for camping trips and emergency backup heat, and I have to say, it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made. This little heater throws out an impressive amount of heat for its size and works like a charm in cold conditions. Heat Output & Performance I was honestly shocked at how well this thing heats up a space. It warms up my tent, garage, and even my small cabin in no time. The heat output is evenly distributed, so I don’t end up with just one super-hot spot while the rest of the space stays cold. On the highest setting, it’s seriously powerful, and I’ve used it in near-freezing temps without any issues. Portability & Ease of Use This heater is super portable and lightweight, which makes it easy to take anywhere. The built-in handle is really convenient, and it doesn’t take up much space. The piezo ignition makes starting it up effortless—just turn the knob and press the button, and it fires right up. Works very well It warmed up my 2 car garage when the outside temp was 30 degrees, just give it time to do its job. Holds 2 1 pound propane cylinders but can be converted to a 20 pound tank and it has two heat settings. the cost is very reasonable

Amazing heater! I love it so much keeps me warm in the garage. Very easy to work and switch tanks. Also very durable and not heavy!

So far so good on this heater. It was easy to light and only have used to test it to see if it worked. It is nice to have around in case the heat goes out in the house. It did not have any smell while using in the house. If the electric goes out then I have no heat. This is why I bought it. Also if he goes out the pipes might need a little warmth to keep from breaking pipes.

Works great but I feel propane smells from combustion.

My husband's bday gift for his hunting blind. He loves it. My ONLY complaint is it burns through a LOT of propane. Next year we are going to figure out how to tube it to a big tank. Be prepared to spend a lot of money on the tanks to keep it running. But other than that, it puts off a good amount of heat and is pretty handy.

Works well for a work shop or temporary heat.

Came nicely packaged, but it did have a steel cable that took some doing to get it off. The on/off knob is a bit tight to get working. The press down to engage the clicker to get the fire started was extremely hard to push. It works as expected, throws off a nice heat. It has hook holes in the back, which allows it to be used in multiple ways. Hang on the wall, or sit on a stand or floor is possible. Great value for the cost! Comes with a handle to carry when needed. Appears to be made of a mixture of metals and heavy-duty plastic.

This is a great little emergency heater. I've tried it outside in mild weather in the winter and it works very well. Easy to use, and perfect to have on hand in case the unexpected happens. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Ayer, en el camping, cenando al aire libre bajo las estrellas, arropados con suéter y una chamarra encima… Saque este calentadorcito por primera vez… lo conecte al gas y en 5 minutos ya andábamos sin suéter super a gusto. Es pequeño, esta bien padre el diseño y funciona super bien. Hay un video en youtube en donde el “youtuber” lo arroja de un precipicio, lo sumerge al agua y hasta le habla feo y… sigue funcionando. La calidad se ve buena y da confianza que hasta lo puedes maldecir si se acaba el gas y funcionará después. Es una excelente adición al kit de “car camping” sobre todo si vas a lugares donde hace frio. La fogata esta rica pero a veces, al momento de cenar esta bueno estar cerca del calorcito.
