Terrific Barbara Stanwyck film. Well worth watching. There are a few plot twists and turns which kept us all guessing. Super quality sound and picture and it plays in English.

A very dull film, utterly unremarkable. And yet this film is praised by the acclaimed film writer David Thompson. But that's Thompson for you: illustrating his poor taste when it comes to picking films that everyone doesn't already like, while at the same time putting down great filmmakers that he doesn't have the critical faculties to understand. Of course, he does it all with intelligence, which only makes it seem he's right though in reality his "expertise" is much in doubt.
