I love these Japanese ladles. Bought this one mostly because of the attractive bamboo handle and the string for hanging it. There are differences between this and other "hemoton" plastic pourers I already have and that are sold on Amazon: 1. the plastic doesn't appear to be as thick as the other pourers. 2. the bamboo/wood handle has a screw through the plastic to hold the handle in place. Hope the plastic doesn't break there 3. It's a bit bigger than other similar pourers here on Amazon. Holds a bit more liquid 4. It has a somewhat flat side opposite the handle, so you can place the device on your countertop with the handle pointing upward. Very interesting design feature. 5. It has a pouring lip on the side, which is handy for filling smaller bottles without having to get a funnel out.ALL of the ladles I have purchased have fully rounded handles. It makes a difference in comfort to NOT have edges digging into your skin. Not all of them are designed this way.

I’ve had this scoop for a while now and I have to say it durable and easy to clean. I use this almost every night in the bath tub and to wash my hair and oh it works wonders. Love love it! 10/10

Bigger bowl, nicer handle.

Beautiful item. Just as pictured. Very "zen-ny". I however gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I am worried of the quality of the hanging rope that comes with the item. After usage of only a few times the rope looks like it may start to unravel.

I don't know what this says about me, but buying this was the highlight of my summer. Throwing a bucket of water over your head in the bath is amazing.

This is as big as a pot. Perfect to rinse your hair in the tub or rinse a doggy afraid of the water noise.

The handles weren't attached well. I had to remove the screws, rotate the handle and screw them in properly. The handles also have a gloss finish and not the natural wood finish I was looking for. They do the job so I kept them though.

I use this ladle to clean off my body after a hard days work. Pairs well with reverse osmosis water and fine soaps and shampoos made from only the naturalist of oils. Highly recommend this classic invention that hasn't had to be updated since its original inception (the dawn of mankind) due to it's simple perfection.

Thus is a very nice tabo. Super versatile. It took very long to arrive however.
