It fits the fixture as intended but I was looking for a white light to replace what I had. I'll look more closely next time.

I got this for my Exo-terra mini light fixture for my mini tall terrarium. It takes one bulb. The light it emits is very white, not cold at all and also not warm. It has a nice daylight look, and makes nice looking shadows if you put sticks or something in front of it. It's also bright enough for my orchids and even started the moss growing basically immediately on the dampest parts of the wood. It took months for me to get moss growing in a different terrarium with some random cheap LEDs. I don't even have it pointed straight down, it's angled partially back towards the aluminum reflector in the light fixture. The light does not make the fixture warm at all, and you can't feel much heat from it even an inch away. The heat dispersal fins on the bulb do get hot though. Anyway: would buy again.

One of the bulbs from my plant light broke at the base, my fault, as I somehow twisted/turned it wrong, and the bulb separated from the base. Although I could reattach, I felt it was safer to simply buy a replacement bulb. I only needed one, but the two is actually better, now the lamp has a new bulb in place for each arm, and the remaining former one is the backup. I use this grow light for an 11G shelf aquarium that is about 32" wide. Perfect light coverage for this heavily planted tank. There is another set of replacement bulbs available that look to be an exact match to this set, just does not come with a remote. I wanted the remote, probably the plant light came with one and of course I can't find it. The instructions are very detailed, and taking the time to read carefully and understand, the different modes work just fine, contrary to reviews complaining about all the settings and/or settings not working properly! Another case for yet another product receiving unfair/incorrect negative reviews! I, for one, am very happy with this purchase, and my aquarium plants are very happy with their grow light. Since they are LED, I don't expect to have to purchase anymore replacements as I'm going to avoid improper handling of the lamp and bulbs going forward.

I have purchased both kinds because I didn’t want two remotes and needed three bulbs. My plants love them, they fit in the curio perfect and they come with a timer?!? (Only on the one with remote) Oh yeah. Worth every penny. You can even dim the brightness with the remote too

Bought this to replace older more expensive to use light bulbs. These work right away as a replacement making the garden run cheaper.

The light so far works great with the timer and sun shedule.

I like these light bulbs they are more of a white colour and thankfully not the orange yellow colour. only time will tell if my plants will like the new bulbs, The bulbs are not hot to the touch a lot cooler feeling temperature than my previous bulbs, You can feel some warmth coming off the bulbs when you touch them. I have not tested them yet in a dimmable fixture, but the description says they will not work in a dimmable fixture when trying to dim them, if that is true, then not being dimmable is the only downside that I can see with these bulbs.
