I did not want a cover lifter that screws into the side of my new spa cabinet as I've heard many stories of those loosening over time and damage being done to the cabinet. This spa cover lifter is adjustable to fit different sized spas, and the feet go underneath the spa which is what holds it in place and allows for the leverage to open it. It's a little flimsy so I can't say yet how it will hold up over time, but I an happy with the purchase and it's worked well for us. One person can easily open the cover using this lifter.

Works great, handy to have!!
I love this thing. It makes it so easy to get the lid off of the spa. I don't have any worries. It's not on the ground getting dirty. I don't have to lift it up. Just flip one side over and push the bar to the left and it's off the side of the Jacuzzi and ready to be used. The quality of the unit was great for the price. Quality construction. Adjustable for different size spas. It was well worth it!

Seating issues
Don’t get this lazy lifter. When it was utilized it blocked part of the hot tub. The lifter held the cover diagonally over the hot tub so if you wanted to sit on the side of the hot tub with the cover, your head would hit it making those seats uncomfortable. Everything about the lazy lifter was structurally fine and easy to build, but it makes a quarter of our hot tub uncomfortable to sit in.

Exactly What We Needed
We had upgraded our cover for our hot tub. It was too heavy for my wife to lift and put it in existing cover holder we had attached to the back of the hot tub. She is able to move the cover off without any help from me.

Works perfect! Instructions could be better
The media could not be loaded. Easy installInstructions could be better but easy to figure out. Not many pieces to put together

2nd one was the one we ordered
Product was damaged during shipping. Seller took our return and replaced at no charge as we waited for 2 weeks for the replacement. second package was also damaged but lift was OK.

Best gift from my husband
This is such a great lift for my cover. It's adjustable and my husband had to make some modifications to fit my tiny 110 volt spa. I'm pretty sure no adjustment would be needed for a standard size tub.
