Comfortable with a cushion.
Very nice chair. The only thing that would make it better is to have a higher back on it.

BUYER BEWARE
My mom has had this heavy duty chair for over 1 year and the screws have fallen out of it making it very unsafe! Very disappointed👎

Hard to steer.
