Guri and Gura

This book was advertised as a bilingual version (Japanese-English). The translation was typed onto slips of paper and stuck onto each page. Surprising though this was, it had a certain charm. However, the translation slips were partially glued over the original language text, rendering it impossible to read. It's impossible to remove the glued on slips without the original text being damaged. The reason for wanting a bilingual version was so that the reader could read the story in both languages, but as this was not possible, the book was useless.

My daughter is learning to speak Japanese and this is a perfect book to practice early reading.
