Fun, Beautiful, and you just might learn something!
Fun for my entire family, as well as enticing my son who hates board games. The design is gorgeous, love the wooden markers.Great for cultivating strategy and an understanding of Economics!

Just so-so
I picked this up on clearance sale, and it looked like it might be fun for a family that likes strategy games (along the lines of Carcassonne). This game was OK; it was more strategy than a nice balance of strategy and luck. But it isn't complex enough. It won't take long to develop "sure fire" moves that will pretty much win all the time, and we prefer a game that has better balance of randomness and strategy.The main con is that the instructions are very complex, much more than the actual playing is. And we did end up "altering" things to make it more interesting.We are big gamers, so it is a nice change, plays quick and allows us the chance to play nice or play "mean" depending on our moods. But overall, it isn't one of our favorites.
