This can help calm a hacking cough if that is the issue. I don't see where it will do much for a sore throat though. You're better off gargling with salt water with a few drops of iodine, alternating with straight colloidal silver. But I do like it for a cough that won't let you sleep even though it might not last through the night. You can take it again as needed. Note the "Herbal Throat" formula here is the same formula as their "Herbal Cough" formula, except the Herbal Cough uses "organic lemon peel" where this one does not designate the lemon peel as organic. This seems strange. It might be due to a change in the overall formula with one label being newer and updated. IDK if the new labeling for one or the other will change to match the other. It seems very odd that the identical formula that is used for two different product names is using organic lemon peel for one and not the other.

This tasted vile and it did not help my cough at all. I threw it away.

This stuff works! I bought this in anticipation of the normal cold/flu season and thought I would give it a try. I was very sick mid Feb. with a horrible cold/flu virus and it helped me better than over the counter cough/respriratory stuff you get at the drug store. Even though I did have to visit a doctor with secondary infection of the bronchial area and get some Z-Pac, this herbal cough formula kept me from losing much needed sleep so that I could get better. Tried to buy some more a couple of weeks ago and unfortunately it wasn't available on Amazon. VERY disappointed by this.
