This is the original Estee' Lauder signature scent. It's green, clean, has a hint if flowers in a sophisticated blend. Spray the air & walk into it. Lasts anywhere from 5-9 hrs. Longevity of Scent is perfect. Bottle Size is perfect and the box came in perfect complete safe condition. Some fragences remain Classic, and this Estee Lauder will always remain Wonderful.

I was unfortunately shocked with the fragrance, my Mama wore this for yrs and it was the scent I remembered most because it was an undeniable scent of beauty and warmth and one spray would last all day and would smell just like you had put it on. I would love to purchase the original scent as the bottle i purchased didn't smell as I had hoped it was like a cheap overbearing old or outdated perfume. 😩

Private Collection was my signature scent throughout the 1980s. I got away from scent, if one may say it this way, for about twenty-five years, but recently, I have experienced a Renaissance in my love for scent, and one of the first I ordered from Amazon Prime was Private Collection. Private Collection is one of the most delicious, enticing, voluptuous, sexy, and strong (think character not smell) scents that I have ever smelt. Unfortunately, the bottle I ordered was not delivered on time, and due to a holiday weekend, it sat for nearly an extra week inside a UPS truck in blisteringly hot and humid weather. Heat, light, and humidity are scents' worst enemies, and my bottle of Private Collection and Miss Dior suffered accordingly. I blame UPS for this, not Amazon. However, there was enough sillage left over in my bottle to recall to me this wonderful, wonderful, wonderful scent, and I will not shy away from ordering it again! I cannot wear most Estee Lauder scents (they literally make me ill), but this is definitely the exception! Wearing it to bed tonight and am sure to have very sweet dreams indeed!

I used to wear Private Collection many years ago and wondered if I would still like it - I definitely do! It has a lovely floral scent. It arrived promptly and was well packaged. I think it was very reasonably priced.

Düfte zu bewerten ist schwierig, weil sie bei jedem anders riechen und die Wahrnehmungen unterschiedlich sind. Die neueren Düfte, die immer wieder auf den Markt strömen, sind für mich alle ziemlich gleich und riechen bei mir nach einer kurzen Zeit eher wie Mückenspray. Ganz anders ergeht es mir mit diesem megatollen Duft von Estee Lauder. Ich liebe ihn schon viele Jahre, weil er zitrisch-blumig ist und eine eigene Persönlichkeit hat. Ich hoffe sehr, dass es ihn noch ganz lange gibt.
