Titan 15200 Precision Oiler

I've kept this laying flat on my desk and it didn't leak one drop of oil. This is a nicely machined piece of kit. Everything is tooled correctly, all the bushings and seals stay in place. There's nothing flimsy about this at all. I got the Titan model because it's capacity is larger than most if not all the other brands I've seen and the price. At $13 this is something I can keep in a field kit and not worry about getting my money's worth. Did I really need it, no but I've used it more than I thought I would. Needless to say, I have lubricated everything with a mechanical action in my house. No squeeks happening over here.

I purchased 3 of these, 2 as gifts and the last for myself. I'm impressed with the simplicity and sturdiness of the design. It's the size of a very large pen. The barrel is about the same diameter as a single AAA flashlight. Still, it does fit in the pen pockets on the sleeve of a Taclite shirt.For those who haven't used an oiler of this type, there is a tapered brass plug in the tip of the needle. When you push the button, that plug extends outward and oil is able to flow past. Releasing the button immediately stops the oil flow. It's very controllable.I don't think it will leak. I filled the reservoir with CLP from a 12-oz aerosol can. Apparently, it takes a while for the propellant to fully outgas. When I first used it, a bit of CLP shot out everywhere because it was still pressurized! But, if the oiler is capable of holding pressure like that, it's not going to leak all over the place. I recommend using a non-aerosolized oil, or waiting 10 minutes for an aerosolized version to completely outgas before sealing it up.There aren't many negative comments to make. The threads in the cover appear a bit rough, but they function smoothly. There is no protection against inadvertent button presses, so the cap could potentially fill up with oil. Neither issue is very significant in my opinion.

This is a nice tool that does not leak so far, which is a big plus. I use it for putting Kroil (TM) on hard to reach hydraulic fittings when I am working on heavy equipment. It does the job, and seems to be relatively robust.

Purchased this to oil my domestic mechanical sewing machine (Juki TL2010Q). How I've managed this long without this tool is beyond me. The oil is literally so precision and so fast and easy. I had been using a bottle that included a tube for application, but it was awful to control the amount of oil you were actually dispensing and messy. This thing is a lifesaver! I was going to initially purchase the branded unit that Juki sold, which was more expensive and discovered this one. If you have any oiling needs - like for your featherweight machine (which I have neglected to oil) this little device is for you!

Works perfectly I use it on firearms perfect placement for a small drop of oil.

It started with a problem, too much lubricating oil coming from the bottle the lubricant originally came in; onto necessary lubrication points on my 9mm handgun. I searched for a lubricant applicator and what I came up with was this 15200 Precision Oiler by Titan Tools! There is zero wrong with this Precision Oiler but there are endless things they got right. Made of all aluminum construction from the plunger to the reservoir to the cap! O Ring's at both ends of the reservoir keeps the lubricant where you want it to stay. In other words it doesn't leak and it puts just the right amount of lubricant where you want it! And the price is just as attractive as the Precision Oiler. I would pay more than $9.99 for this item. I will be buying more as gifts for my best friends who would enjoy and benefit from having a good lube dispenser such as this.

I purchased this to have a more precise way to apply oil to the hinges of my folding knives. As soon as I received this item I immediately opened it and filled it up with 3-in-1 oil and went to work on two of my folding knives. It worked great allowing me to apply less oil to the specific spots it was needed. I put it through the paces with the cap on and off to see if it would leak oil and so far it does not release any oil unless you press the click button on the top (there is a slight amount of residual left in the tube but that is what the bottom cap is for I would assume.The only negative I found is that I periodically had to hold it upright and slightly open the filler cap (top of oiler pen) to allow air it as it has created some sort of vacuum and was not allowing oil out. This is not a big deal as long as the oiler pen does not leak. I was well into the second knives oiling before I had to do this so I would think after each use if you slightly open and then close up the filler cap you would be fine.I recommend this item for anyone looking for a convinent way to apply small amounts of oil to specific small or hard to get to areas without wasting oil or making a mess from over oiling.

Well made, quality built, but it’s gravity fed thru the small hole at the bottom. Tried amsoil gun oil and Lucas tool box buddy, home & shop oil. Both are too thick to actually flow out of the tip. Even after heating the unit up a bit with a lighter. Pretty much defeats the purpose. Get one of the squeeze bottles instead.

Love this. I am a dog groomer and have to oil my clipper blades regularly but I hate clipper oil bottles because they always leak, so it is not good for transporting in your bag. I decided to look for a different option and came across this. It is good quality weighty and DOES NOT LEAK. The press button ensures you get a small amount of oil and u can press the button a little for a tiny amount or all the way for a small amount. Definitely recommend.

Ever since this product came to my home it never fail me oiling all my tools at home and yes job well done.

Easy to use and add oil to an exact spot. Excellent performance giving accurate amounts. I now use this everyday when my Brother embroidery machine requires an oil service. For the convenience and sturdiness of this tool I would consider it great value for the money.
