Review: Light weight and effective. Bought it twice - 5/12/24: the first one which I bought back in 2019 started to die on me. Since I liked it so much I ordered it again. This 2nd one has a stronger heating coil. I'm able to cook faster and at lower temperature settings than with the 1st unit. ... which makes it a better buy than the first one! Original review: I use this product often to heat up water and cook Ramen or spaghetti noodles. So far it's held up over the past several years and always gets the job done. Also easy to pack away when I'm done using it to free up counter space. Would buy again!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How large of a pot can the burner handle?  What size is the burner?**
A: I use Revere Ware pots, so the size may not match your brand, but will boil water in an eight quart ( 10 inch ) pot in a reasonable time. The burner measures 6 inches across. For what it's worth, I got the burners (2) for reducing tomato sauce for canning. They work fine for that.Tom

**Q: How long is the cord? Is it 3 prong?**
A: Not a very long card and yes it is a 3 prong. Be careful with the dial because the numbers on mine rubbed off by the 2nd use. Hope this is helpful. :)

**Q: Is the element 'tiltable'  for easy cleaning of the metallic reflector ?**
A: No, it doesn't clean easy. About all I can do is take a wet towel and push it between the coils and get what I can get.

**Q: It says there's an automatic shutoff, if I need to cook something for a long period of time (few hours) it's not going to just shut off, right?**
A: It shuts off in about 20mins. Definitely not good for long usage.

PROS: - very light - small and easy to transport - easy to store - heats up in 2-3 minutes - low price - very useful if you want to avoid too much smoke / smell in the house - can take a 12 inch skillet without it sliding off CONS: - limited heat (30-35 minutes for a pack of bacon - 2 and a half "rounds" in the skillet) - doesn't heat a larger skillet equally - feels a little flimsy and cheap
