Waterproof Everyday Bibs (10 pack) by green sprouts

By 6 weeks, we had determined that our son was a hearty drooler and spitter-upper. I knew terry bibs were absorbent, but they would also soak through to baby's clothes. Made of terry with a waterproof layer in the middle, these bibs were my answer.Pros:-I stick them in the dryer with my regular laundry, and they come out just fine. They're not crinkly, they don't curl.-Solid colors! Nothing with silly sayings or designs! I don't love the peach color in this pack, but we just put that color on him at home.-They're very thin yet soak up a surprising amount of spit up and drool.-They take up little room in your diaper bag, so you can toss 5 or 6 in there.-They've fit my son since he was 6 weeks old. He's 6 months now, we're still using them and they still fit great.-The shape of these bibs is perfect. He's very well protected, but if he's wearing a hood in the cold or strapped into his car seat, I can still comfortably pull the bib out to protect him.Common Sense Tips:-These never soaked through for me, but I also change his bib regularly when it gets wet or soiled. These are inexpensive enough that I bought 3 packs, so I always have a clean bib that coordinates with his outfit. If the color doesn't bother you, you don't need to buy that many.-Fasten the velcro before you toss them in the laundry or they'll stick to your sweaters.-I put a clean bib on over the dirty bib, and then take off the dirty bib underneath in one motion. My baby knows when that ten second window of bib freeness is and will hork on me otherwise.-If you're concerned about the velcro rubbing baby's neck, put it on so the soft side of the velcro faces baby's skin. I haven't had this problem because the velcro holds so securely and is completely covered when fastened.-Sometimes spit up rolls down the front of the bib based on the angle. If you're quick and fold the bib to catch it, it will soak up the mess. Bib change time, but not whole outfit change time.I love these so much that I've started to send them as baby gifts to friends. They love them too!

My baby has a little bit of reflux and she's ALWAYS spitting. Not only after feedings, but sometimes even two hours after feeding we have some spitting episodes. So of course she is ALWAYS wearing a bib. What I loved about this:- Ten pack of great solid colors, now the bibs are accessories that se wears with her outfits, not ugly items she HAS to wear.- Now she has enough bibs for two days, at least.- Waterproof lining, so it prevents her clothes from getting wet.- The lining is SO thin I can't tell it is there. I have other bibs with waterproof lining that are thick and we can hear the plastic inside.- Double sided very absorbent surfaces. With milk I don't use the two sides, becaue the milk starts to smell bad after a while (I'm very picky about smells, I can smell from far away - my husband calls me a troll, hehe) but if it is just saliva (she can't seem to stop sucking her hands lately) I can totally put one bib to dry and after a while use the other side, if I'm out of bibs.- Green company! Found out only after purchase.- 3-12 months old size (found out only after purchase), which is perfect because my baby turned three months two days ago, so she'll use them for a long time!Love them!

My baby has pretty bad reflux, so spitting up and vomiting is a constant occurrence. These are the only bibs I will put on them since they actually protect their clothes. They are nice and wide and prevent the spit up from soaking through to their clothes. The necks are a bit small but not too small - my chunky 3 month old still has space so it's not even close to choking their neck but still small enough to catch the liquid. I find that is one of the reasons they work so well since the liquid doesn't escape underneath the bib like most other bibs. Helps keep the laundry down, which when you have a newborn is a huge help. They are easily washed in the laundry machine and can be dried in the dryer too.

These bibs are the best I've tried so far (out of about 6 different brands). I have purchased at least 3 sets of 10, in both the boy and girl colors.Pros:-beautiful, color-fast colors-big variety of colors in one 10-pack. I can always find a bib to match whatever outfit he is wearing.-absent of cutesy distracting baby designs and obnoxious patterns. My 16-month old has been wearing bibs all day every day for a year, and I very quickly got tired of seeing bibs with "MONKEY BOY" or "POWER DROOLER" all over them. They are a part of his wardrobe, and I want them to be as inconspicuous as possible.-soft-absorbent-truly water resistant: there is a waterproof layer sandwiched between the two layers of terry cloth-strong velcro-both the fabric AND the velcro stay perfectly flat after repeated washings, rather than buckling or curling from the dryer like many others I have gone through-the strong velcro STAYS strong after repeated washings, not getting weaker or with repeated use or exposure to the dryer (also like many others I have gone through)-perfect size...not too big, not too small-really decent price for a pack of 10 in my opinionConsiderations:-You must make sure that the velcro is closed (scratchy velcro half fastened to the soft half of the velcro) when you wash them with other delicate fabrics, like a satin-feel baby blanket, or the very strong velcro will catch those delicate materials. To me, this is a common-sense laundering issue, not a product flaw, hence my rating of 5 stars. You also have to make sure the velcro is fastened well (that the two pieces match up, no overlapping, etc.) when you put it on your baby. Since the velcro is very strong (and scratchy when opened), it can irritate sensitive baby skin. Again, a common sense issue, since all you have to do is make sure the two velcro halves match up when you fasten the bib, then no scratchy parts are exposed to skin. Again, common sense and in my opinion not a product flaw.

I was looking for absorbent bibs for my 4 month old daughter who had been drooling quite a bit. These bibs definitely do the trick. They're made of a soft terry material and absorbed quickly. The bibs are large enough to cover my baby's chest and shoulders. There's a really good variety of colors in the package, which makes it easy to pair with her outfits. One thing that I wasn't a fan of is that the neck openings are pretty small even though the tags say 3-12 months. The Velcro on the bibs is also a bit rough so to avoid scratching her neck or the back of her head, I always make sure that the Velcro is completely covered. Even though the bibs fit her perfectly now, I feel like they might not in a couple of months. They're great bibs and serve their purpose. I'm happy with my purchase overall.

These bibs are great! Even though they have plastic sandwiched between the cloth layers, they don't feel plasticky or crinkly to the touch at all. They are soft and absorbent, and they wash well. They come out of the dryer nice and flat, no wrinkling or anything. We've been using them on our baby since she was born (at 7 pounds). They looked comically big on her then, but fit fine nevertheless. She's 3 months and 13.5 pounds now and they still fit fine. I hope we can use them for many more months, because they really are great. Great price on Amazon, too! And I love the variety of colors. I got this set and the girl set, for a total of so many colors that we have a bib to match any outfit (not that it matters so much, but it is nice…).One thing to keep in mind, though I think that applies to anything with velcro, is to remember to stick the velcro parts together before putting the bibs in the washer. The first time I forgot, and they stuck to everything and ripped up some of her clothes… The velcro is very strong! Now I check every single bib before it goes in the wash, and it's fine.

Before I ramble on... if you are thinking about buying these bibs, don’t question it anymore, JUST DO IT! I originally bought these bibs at buy buy baby, thought they were overpriced at $17.99 for a 10 pack. When I used them for the first time I understood why they were a little more expensive, because they are AWESOME!!!! My son is an excessive drooler, and I mean EXCESSIVE, drooling through a normal bib about every hour or less. We go through a lot of bibs in this house. I’ve tried fabric bibs, the plastic bibs, neither really worked the fabric ones got soaked fast, plastic ones the drool or spit up just ran down. These bibs are the perfect combination, they are fabric, but between the fabric layers is plastic. So when the bib absorbed drool, spit, his formula and whatever else ends up coming out of his mouth... the wetness didn’t go through to his clothes and most importantly his sensitive skin. These bibs also hold up so well! Most of the bibs I’ve bought have shrunk, shriveled and fallen apart after being washed daily, these bibs look the exact same as they did the day I bought them (minus a few food stains on the white one) they don’t shrink or anything! After using these bibs for a month I just had to go looking for more and I found them here on amazon for an even better price!! I will be buying these bibs for everyone I know having a baby they are seriously that good. If you are thinking about buying these just DO IT.

This is actually my second order of these bibs. I am a mom of children who happen to be prolific spitters (spitter-uppers? lol) as babies. My newborn is going through 10-12 bibs per day right now. I had a 10 pack of these from 3 years ago with my last child, but still found myself needing more so I didn't have to wash laundry twice a day! I just bought a second pack of 10 bibs. These are the only bibs she can wear right now. Even though she's 1 month old, I bought the 3-12 month size bibs and they fit fine. Sometimes she spits up on the collar and I have to change her outfit, but these bibs reduce the need for wardrobe changes by at least 3-5 outfits per day. With other cotton bibs that don't have a waterproof layer in the middle like these do, the spit up instantly soaks through the bib onto her clothes. It's especially frustrating when that happens in the middle of the night and you have to change baby's clothes when you want to be sleeping! With these bibs, a simple swap is usually all that's needed. They cover a good bit of her shoulders right now since she's small, and that's saved a number of outfits also.The velcro is quite loud to open when you have a sleeping baby, but it's not loud enough to stop me from using them. You also need to make sure they are closed before washing with other laundry, or you may get other things stuck to them. The colors are vivid and fun, and don't easily fade despite many washes. There is some fading on my old set from 2013, but they are 3 years old so I give them a pass.Highly recommend these if you're tired of wimpy bibs that don't absorb anything.

Compré estos baberos por que mis hijos babean mucho y quería algo que no se mojaran. En ese aspecto fenomenal pero de diámetro de cuello son pequeños, ellos tienen 5 meses y les están justos, se suponen que son hasta un año

Excelentes baberos !! Vienen muchos de muchos colores, efectivamente el agua no se pasa de un lado a otro.Son muy cómodos y de buen tamaño.Lo único que no me gusta mucho es que el Velcro es duro y si no lo abrochas exacto le raspa a mi bebe un poco la nuca

Conoscevo già questo prodotto,è davvero ottimo.Non hanno retro cerato,che a me personalmente non piace,ciò nonostante,anche se molto bagnata,non mi è mai capitato che si bagnassero anche gli indumenti!
