Had check engine light on for 4 years bought the catalytic converters for p0420 code 4 years ago they weren’t carb compliant so I bought 2 of these walker carb compliant catalytic converters with 4 new walker oxygen sensors. I have no check engine light now it’s been 3 weeks and 2000 miles the light hasn’t come on at all

The part is great quality and well manufactured it’s that the cost of a “California cat” is over 300$. And the same cat only a “Federal cat “ is as low as 59$. Thee only difference is the “cal cat”. has numbers on it snd it’s more then quadruple the price of the fed cat. Right…..you tell me why?

I have not installed yet so cannot review product performance. The packaging is good and was delivered in a timely manner. This Cat was priced far below local California parts stores. I will try to update review after it's installed and in use.

I bought this catalytic converter California in 2021 for my 98 Toyota Tacoma and it passed smog. I just got back from the smog guy and it didn't pass due to the catalytic converter. We then checked the history of the truck and found it only had 12,000 miles put on it. The warranty States it should last 50,000 miles.I now have to deal with Amazon to see what the next steps are. Remember that you have to pay to weld it in and purchase it. I don't think it's worth the money

These cats. Made a big improvement to the performance of my Tahoe. Walker products in my opinion is the choice I recommend as this is what I'm running on my own.
