So happy that I paid that bit extra and got just what I needed a new blade for my blender it works perfectly and now I can make my protein shakes. Have used it and washed it and it still works perfectly fine. Also grateful that an extra rubber was sent with it, very happy indeed.Updated review after 6 monthsI have been using the blender since purchasing it on a regular basis however today Saturday, 19th of February the blender started making a terrible noise when I looked at the extractor blade the blade out these little black rubber parts come out and the bottom of the blade seems like it’s wearing away, please see photos. I clean it regularly and ensure I take the rubber out, so I’m quite disappointed that it has started to give problems only after six months .

Bought it to get an extra blade for my ninja. But didn't fit and a waste of money.

So I bought this as a replacement for my original one which cracked.I do not actually use my blender much - only really when I decide to go on a diet/cleanse and drink lots of shakes, which happens twice a year - and not for very long!Recently I've been using it to blend vegetables and then hide them in the bolognese for the kids. That is once weekly.I estimate I've used this product about 50 times since I bought it 17 months ago. Now every time I use it, brown liquid comes out of the part of the lid that is the other side of the blades. It is very clearly rust, because I have never blended anything brown and I drink vanilla or strawberry protein drinks. Plus this is coming out the external part of the lid that hasn't been in contact with any liquids. I also both hand wash and use this item in a dishwasher (hand wash between shakes during the day and in the dishwasher overnight).I'm not sure I can recommend this item seeing as there are cheaper blades half the price on this website - even though reviews state those rust as well. However, after 17 months of light use this one has rusted, so either way it seems like it's going to happen and you'll need to buy a replacement again.What I will say is the lid fits perfectly for my Nutri Ninja and it has not cracked and the blades are still sharp. Just be aware you'll eventually need to replace it again, even if it's in two years time.

My old blades eventually seized up after 6 years of use. For the price, this replacement is good, works very well, quiet and doesn’t leak.

Excellent quality

After only 7-8 months it started to develop cracks in the base.Now it leaks during use and I have to find a different replacement.

Bien les premières utilisations mais les roulements ont bloqué après quelques jours et faisaient un bruit insupportable.

Had this less than a year. Gets almost daily use on a Nutri Ninja. Bearings are already freezing up. The thing has also leaked out around seal while blending since day one but I put up with it. I had the original Ninja blades for 5yrs until it froze up. This thing however is complete knock off trash- don't waste your $$$.
