I took this rain jacket to Scotland. Fortunately, we didn't see a lot of rain, but where we did this jacket kept me dry. It was packable enough I was able to carry it in my camera bag or in a side pocket in my inner jacket. I had no problem with fit; it went over my daily wear without a problem. The only thing I had a problem with was the rain hood. It was too big or long. It kept falling in my face. I finally bought a brimmed cap and the brim would hold up the front of the hood. The other thing I liked about this jacket was it served as a very good wind-breaker.

Bought this for my dad to walk the dog on soggy summer days. It's light weight, comfy, and best of all, you stay dry. I was worried it would be too hot on humid summer day, it's not, it's perfect. Highly recommend. My picky dad lives it and it's stylish, and a great price.

Needed a really cheap, packable rain jacket to stash in my travel bag in case of rain and on short notice b/c rain was in the forecast for my next trip. This one is not as nice as the Columbia Glennaker, but I kept it anyway b/c it was so cheap and I preferred the light gray color (not available in the Columbia at the time). Some features (mainly cons but could also be pros):- very, very thin nylon (probably not as durable, but makes it super light and packable)- comes with a bag to pack in (really stupid - why not just be foldable into its own pocket)- has an interior pocket (nice, but would be better if the jacket could fold into it)- has elastic at the wrists - pretty much useless as the cuffs are still way to big. Velcro would be much better, but would probably increase the expense / price.- hood folds into its own color with two velcro points - not as much as on the columbia but good enough.- hood has drawstrings so can be adjusted to fit well.- zipper has a flap with velcro over it for extra protection or you can just velcro the jacket shut if in a hurry - this is much nicer than on the Columbia jacket.- pretty large, long, and baggy (mostly see this as a good thing so it can fit over lots of other layers if needed). mostly is better than those theme park ponchos but not as long.- can fold down super compact- price is great - could buy a lot of these to stash extras in multiple suitcases, backpacks, vehicles, give to visiting friends/families, etc.- nylon and not polyester (prefer nylon)- pretty good looking (subjectively) overall with no visible logos (if you prefer that plain-ness and lack of advertising)- came in super compact package so very wrinkled, but wrinkles came out easily with very cool iron (and about to get wrinkled again when packed in my bag)Overall, probably 2-3 stars, but the low price bumps it up to 4 stars. Solid buy.

Well fitting, waterproof, good value for money.

Bought this to take to Disney since it often rains in the afternoon. I’ll order 2 more in different colors because it works great, is easy to carry, and doesn’t get too hot. Waterproofing works great and it hasn’t leaked. Great jacket.

When ordering clothing on line your never really know what getting into. My wife and daughter each bought a different brand a returned both. This rain jacket is exactly what i wanted. Very light weight, breathable fit is true. Very please with this purchase

I didn't use it, because it was too small. I would like to exchange it for a larger size

When looking for a simple rain jacket/windbreaker, I went to some of the first sites that came to mind. There I found heavy duty garments that were highly designed with all the whistles, logos, and well over 100$, some well over 200$. But I just wanted a good old light weight jacket that I could pack away in the suitcase or carry while hiking. Good main zipper, check, side pockets with zippers, check, hoodie that can be tugged under collar, check. Main zipper overlapped with a flap that can be battened down with velcro, check.A small bag that the whole thing can be stuffed into and dangled from the hip when not needed, check.I chose a light grey. Other colors available. Looks decent, probably won't survive running past dead branches in heavy wilderness but absolutely perfect for light hiking and wind/rain protection. purchased as an emergency rain jacket, and i've been pleasantly surprised with how well it has held up.better in the rain than i thought it would be.

Great rain jacket nice and compact and the large fit as it should

I used this quite a bit while travelling around France. The weather was extremely variable and I did not need a raincoat or wind breaker all day or every day.I found that this coat was good for windy weather and for light drizzle. An small umbrella was still needed to deflect heavier rain as this product is only waist length and rain would run down onto my pants.When not needed, I tied it around my waist because it was not bulky, or put it back in the pouch that came with it and then put it into my travelling backpack.It is waterproof, but if dong a lot of walking, it can get sweaty on the inside.
