Everybody Hurts

The idea of realising a single to help the victims of the devastating earthquake in Haiti was great. It gave all of us who wanted to help in some way a chance to do so and to get a unique record at the same time with a large variety of artists. To listen to Susan Boyle along side a very established singer like Rod Stewart in this beautiful and emotional song is fantastic.

Not just Leona Lewis. It includes songs by many artists including Susan Boyle.

Such a great song, with amazing artists collaborating together :) Completely happy with this purchase.. I recommend it to everybody!

I bought this CD to help contribute to the Haiti relief fund, but I was blown away by the power and emotion behind the song. I love it and hope many more people order this really great music.

What's missing in this single is the fact that, unlike "Do they Know it's Christmas" and "We are the World" of the eighties, you need to have a video/DVD of this performance. The interest in this type of single is more about the people taking part and I am more moved when I see the individual singers giving their all in a song for the cause. All the disparate singers coming together makes the real interest, although I appreciate the need to see the harrowing scenes from the devastation of the earthquake. I'm surprised Simon Cowell didn't think of this as I would gladly have bought the DVD just to see how the song was put together and the various people who took part. However, so long as it brought in the money to help the stricken people of Haiti, that's the main thing.

to be honest i got this for a funeral and it was well received.its a lovely song that rings true to anyone who has loved and lost

Excellent book

Excellent recording, great fun picking out the various artistes voices. Would love to know how it was made...glad it was not a copy of the Bob Geldolf original charity record.
