Normal shampoo that you would expect for the price. Nothing fancy, but good for everyday use.Pros:-Inexpensive.-No weird artificial smell.-Non-irritant (to my scalp), relatively mild, not particularly drying or moisturizing, not greasy, so I would recommend it for everyday use.Cons:-Nothing really bad but nothing good stands out either.-Not as moisturizing as some other shampoos (such as Head & Shoulder).

I really love this shampoo. My hair doesn't get to tangle with this shampoo. A very great product and I would recommend it.

I love this shampoo as well BUT I bought it from my local beauty supply store for $4.49 so too expensive here, but it washes the hair well, washes out good and that's about all I can say.EDIT: It smells nice and it works averagely well, but I'm 3/4ths black and... over this past year, all I can say is it tangles my hair with every usage. In theory, I want to jush my hair when I wash it, get it all through without having to worry about the strands clumping up, but I just can't do that with this shampoo. I can only put my fingers through it and can't move my hair around too much for fear of MAJOR tangles, and trust me, I have HAD major tangles with this shampoo, which I didn't have with previous brands. What's worse, even when I DON't jush, and use my fingers, my hair still clumps together. I have the conditioner BUT the only thing that declumps it and makes it feel softer (rather than the stripped feeling I get from this shampoo) is the Dove Damage Repair conditioner.Long story short, I'd like a shampoo that doesn't tangle my hair, and doesn't only make it feel clean, I want it to feel healthy rather than stripped and dry. (I know that's what sulfates do, but there are 1 too many negatives.)

Don't think this shampoo is just for black women. I am white and over fifty. With age, my once beautiful hair has become dry and lifeless. I used this shampoo for quite a while and absolutely loved what it did to my hair. I used it until I needed shampoo and the store I was happened to be in didn't happen to carry it so I went with something else. (I hate shopping so store hopping is out of the question!) I noticed the difference within about two weeks. YUK! Now I've ordered a bottle of Optimum Oil Therapy shampoo from Amazon and I can't wait to get it. When it arrives, the other shampoo is going straight into the garbage!

Very best shampoo for my hair. Makes my hair soft and manageable and keeps the ends from splitting. I will not use any other shampoo.
