The seller was terrific; I got the product very soon after ordering, professionally packaged for shipping, the whole 9 yards.The product itself is easy to use (directions are included), but the ink is not the best quality. If you have a 'before refill' and an 'after refill' printout you can clearly see how the refill ink is lighter colored and more prone to streaking. If you intend to just print out single-use things (directions, funnies from the web, etc) it's a great way to save money. I wouldn't use the refill ink for things like family photos, though.

I was sick and tired of paying so much money for the canon cartridges, so I decided to give this a shot. I wish I had discovered this sooner. It would have saved me lots of money.The instructions were clear and very easy to follow. Perhaps the worst thing about this system is the little finger drill that is provided to access the inside of the cartridge you intend to refill. I was not making any progress with the finger drill so I quickly abandoned that thought and just grabbed my electric drill with the same size drill bit and got through in no time.While refilling the cartridge, the ink would occasionally bubble up through the hole and you have to be careful not to keep squeezing or you'll make a bigger mess. After filling up the cartridge with about half the bottle (each kit will supposedly refill 2 cartridges) I wiped all of the ink off that had bubbled over, let it sit for 20 minutes or so, and then tried it out. It worked fine.I don't think the quality is as good as the authentic canon cartridges, but I am using my printer solely for the purpose of printing large amounts of documents where I am not concerned with a perfect presentation. If I can read what I'm printing, it's good enough for me. And that's exactly what this system does. I have yet to try and print something in high quality, but for my purposes, it has definitely been worth the money and I intend to purchase it again when the need arises.

Nevertheless, I emptied the entire bulb into it. The product page leads the shopper to believe that they will a few refills from one bulb. I didn't and it kind of makes me question if I got the correct amount of ink.Keep in mind that although you refill the cartridge you will still get the low ink warning unless you buy an ink cartridge chip reset tool. This is common knowledge and not a valid complaint.The shipping costs are outrageous. But, I can't complain too much because they state the shipping cost right in the description.

I decided to go the refill route because I can't really see myself paying $50 for a black and color cartidge right now...I was researching online and came across this seller..It seemed pretty cheap. So when I order it, even though it says it takes like 2 weeks to be delivered...I got mine within days. I ordered the color on a friday and got it Monday...And ordered the black on that monday and received it today..Thur. Anyway, Its real easy!!I gave them 4 stars because in the instructions, it talks about using a syringe for the ink to measure it. It would be nice if one came with the kit..I just don't have syringes lying around my house but overall I love the productI would highly recommend!!

I read the instructions and tried to use it but it was just too messy and maybe my ink cartridge was already dried out. The ink did not go inside of the cartridge like it was suppose to so I just ended up throwing it out! Good luck to all of the other DIY-ers!

I can never get anything fiddly done while my kids are awake, so imagine my surprise when I was able to successfully refill not one, but TWO ink cartridges while tending to my kids! I refilled the just-emptied cartridge from my printer and an older one that had been dead for a long time. The dead one came back to life after I put a little Windex in the bottom of a plastic container and let the print head soak in it for about 10 minutes. The "only mostly dead" cartridge just needed a couple of head cleaning cycles to get roaring back into life.The instructions were very clear. I had expected that for so low a price I'd get instructions written in Engrish, but I was pleasantly surprised. The squeeze bottle that the ink comes in is very cleverly designed to be put underneath the cartridge to hold it in the proper position while the ink soaks in. The drill tool is also very clever and I will hang onto it so that I can use it for crafts. My only disappointment is that there are only 1-2 refills in each kit, but I would gladly buy this kit again (and probably will!) I can't wait to try the color one next, as soon as my current color cartridge runs out of ink!

I was looking for an inexpensive alternative to buying new printer ink cartridges. This is the first Refill Kit I had ever bought. The quality of the ink was good, but it ran out so quickly, and being the novice I was, I didn't know they had been very stingy with the quantity of ink they sent. I never bought this again. Instead I found another deal and another supplier where they sent a large bottle of at least 50 times more ink for the same price! I give this product a failing grade, because of the ridiculously small quantity.

I was a little suspicious when I ordered this ink, it was too cheap compared to the original ($22), but I was wrong it actually really good and it is even better than the original, because the original was bleeding on different types of paper but this ink do not even when I used the same paper I used with the original ink. Also you get almost 2-3 refills out of it but this depends on the type of ink container you have. I do agree with some that the shipping is over priced but it is only $4 with shipping it is $9 and you get 2-3 refills, still they need to charge less when you combine items.I got the color ink too and it is also great. One tip is do a cleaning cycle after the refill (deep clean is better), and use the supplied stickers to prevent leaks, even if it leaked at first it will stop within 10-15 min but do not use it before it stop leaking, I do not have the leak problem with the black ink only the color one leaked (the blue) but it stopped and now I print really beautiful pictures.
