Huge hit!!! - To my husband's displeasure, I hope they bring these back!Lost one star because they are pretty cheaply made Chinese imports. We kept two wands and sent one home with a friend. I don't know how theirs held up. But of the two we kept, one broke within a day. Duct tape fixed it for a short time, but eventually, the handle fell apart. The other one we kept is still working 10 months later. That poor thing has enduring endless hours of kid abuse. Faught over constantly and dropped a thousand times. And the last one has held up. Batteries last a long time between changes too.Lost a second star because they are a bit too loud. The sound they make is really annoying. And the LED flashing lights are a bit too bright. The kids might love them, but gosh are these wands are terrible. I can live with them for how happy these make the kids. I still think they're worth it. I even came back to buy more for this summer. Amazon is out of stock, so my husband is the only one happy at the moment. He absolutely hates these wands. He a pretty laid back guy too. Rarely complains. Not usually sensitive to noises and lights. But there is just something about these that irritated him extra bad. I could see them bothering a sensitive family member or the family pets.

Everything that people said was true. I bought these because they could stand up on their own and light the room, they do. They can also be held like microphones (karaoke night at our house has lots of back up singers). It has 3 light settings and all 6 that I purchased worked. This product has two negative features, each worth one star. First the BATTERIES each light takes 3 AA's, very expensive and inefficient considering most of these LED products run off a watch battery...for years. You must have a small philips screwdriver to remove the tiny screw for install. The second is the sound. Digital fireworks crackle and scream, annoying. There's no way to turn it off. Tape over the speaker muffles, but doesn't kill, the sound. As long as you know what you're getting, you'll be fine with these, and the gift boxes ARE nice, but there are also cool more efficient trinkets out there.

I got these as a gift for my disabled nephew. He likes noises and flashy lights, but these were too extreme. The lights were too fast and crazy and would put him at risk for seizures. The firework noise is also loud. So much so that this was not a great sensory fit. Another reason I rated one star was because not only was the plastic dirty and scratched up, it just feels very cheaply made. I would not recommend this toy for anything other than a fourth of July accessory. I do not think this is worth the price. I also do not understand why there was crusted food-like spots on one of the items. These have just been another accumulated item in the house.

Everyone I gave one of these to just loved them. I had great fun with it on Halloween. When someone would ring my doorbell for Trick-or-Treat I would turn it on and shine it at the oval glass on the front door which acted like a prism. It made for some interesting conversations when I opened the door. One tiny little girls was frightened by it, and when I opened the door I found her crouched down beside her mother gripping her ankle. I just told her I was so sorry, and showed it to her telling her it was just this funny, noisy flashlight. Then I gave it to her. She was so excited to have it she walked away without her candy! :-) I gave her candy to her Mom. What a little doll! She was playing with it all down the street. The is a fun and safe toy, and comes with a gift box for each one. Couldn't get any better than that!

The media could not be loaded.  This was super cool. It's very loud and very bright. There is no volume button. However, our blue one was completely missing the metal piece inside the battery chamber: rendering it useless. I bought in August because of a sale & my return window ended in October. So, no return for me.

I had purchased these for a grand kid birthday and 4th of July fun. I could not make sense of how to get the firecracker sound to happen, no instructions were available with the package. Cheaply Cheaply made. The materials were so flimsy and brittle that I was concerned about breaking it as I was attempting to get the battery box opened. However, I was not successful in getting it open because 2 of the 3 screws were set in so deep....and at a slant.....I gave it up. Even though I didn't break it...I knew it would never survive my 4 rowdy cowboy grand kids. Very disappointing..... the whole idea of all this toy could do was just too good to be true.

My son LOVES these. Since it's a 3 pack, I put the other 2 up for later. He has autism and loves the flashing lights and the sounds. He tends to be sensitive to certain sounds like the vacuum cleaner or the stand mixer but he loves this thing. If you are one of those parents who get annoyed or irritated by sounds easily this may not be for you. It is very loud but I just tune it out myself, those things don't bother me. It has kept him entertained for a week now so to me, we have already surpassed my expectations of the item. And it's great that I have extra's to pull out later when needed.
