Hair Drain Clog Remover Drain Relief Tool for Drain Cleaning 17''(2 Pairs)

I bought this design rather than the one that had bristles like a brush because I thought it would be easier to clean. I was correct in thinking it was easy to clean but the sharp edges of the hair catcher made it difficult to pull it back up through the drain in my bathroom sink. Nevertheless I persevered and pulled out a lot of gunk- mostly lotion, soap and hair gunk. It ended up not being long enough to get to the bottom of the mess, but because it is pretty rigid I was able to swivel it around and clean the sides all the way down the length of the tool.My sink still drained slowly, so I plunged it with a baby sized plunger and low and behold it drains again! The whole process took 20 minutes or so, and was well worth the effort as I do not care to use chemicals.

This was not especially effective in my bathroom sink. I couldn't get the hair up or down, could just feel the strap bonking into it. Then when you bring the strap thing out of the drain, it kind of flings the muck everywhere. Super icky. Worked better in my shower (bigger opening).

Very nice and easy to work. The jagged edge made grabbing the hair in the clog very easy. I like this product a lot because it saved me from having to either call a plumber or busting the pipes open myself. Now my one draw back was I wished it was long. I don't feel I got all the hair but I did get enough to open up a better water flow in my sink.

Works well, but getting it to roll back up was a challenge. I also managed to get it stuck in the drain and had to pull really hard. It's not single use and since we have a lot of hair at home, its used pretty often.

I got this product in hopes of solving a slow drainage problem in my kitchen sink. The packaging and storage mechanism was nice. while it did pull out some of clogging elements. But it didn't solve the clogging problem. Maybe because it NOT long enough to gets down to the drain pipes. OR maybe I don't know how to used it.... Any way it still useful for remove some of the hairs.

Worked okay, but glad I bought 2. Was going to give the other one to my mother, but the teeth bent on my first use, as they are plastic, so I know I will be needing the extra.

The strip is 16 inches and really would work better if it were about 2 feet long. Wouldn't reach a few of my sink traps. Worked well on the shorter necked traps where the tool could reach into the trap. Does advertise the tool as 17 inches, so be sure to check the length of your pipes between the drain and the trap.

It is cheap and it does work - just not well. It did pull enough hair out to get the drain flowing better, but it still does not work like new (or even half as good as new). I had to insert the snake numerous times to get stuff out, and the cheap plastic barbs on the clog remover were ripped off while trying to pull it out. Thankfully this includes two of these devices, and I had to use both of them just to get the tub drain decent. This product claims it is reusable - but after ripping to barbs off of both of them, there is no way this can be used again. I will not buy this product again. I am going back to the drain weasel.
