Get this for your itchy hamster
So I was dubious about how effective this product would be for hamsters, esp since hamsters and baths are like oil and water. But the description said it was good for even these little guys. About a month ago, I noticed that my hamster had dandruff - which is something I've never seen on hamsters before. He was also scratching himself raw, which made some bits of his fur fall out. I suspected a fungal infection, but I couldn't get him in to see a vet until over a week later. So I decided to try this shampoo out in the meantime. Let me tell you, it's not an easy task trying to keep a hamster still for 10mins to lather the shampoo in. It's also really important to keep them warm during this process. I held him close in my hands to keep the warmth in and to prevent him from trying to lick himself. Also, after I rinsed him off, I partly used a blow dryer on the lowest warm setting and held it far enough away so that the air wouldn't burn his delicate skin. You also want to direct the air flow from behind so that it didn't blow in its face. Then I used a fine dog comb to gently take out the shed hair and dandruff - which also helped to dry him off. The best time for me to do all this was during the day when he was already calm and sleepy. I didn't notice anything until about the 4th day, when the dandruff looked smaller, the itching decreased and his skin looked less scaley. I still had concerns about regularly bathing him, but my vet said that the shampoo is less intrusive on the hamsters' health than having to take a strong antifungal medicine orally - which makes sense. She encouraged me to continue the shampoo for a few more times and see if my hamster continued to improve. The vet didn't suspect ringworm, but perhaps an allergy to his bedding or pollen (??). I definitely suspected a mild case of ringworm, b/c he had a UTI and URI as well. But in any case, this stuff worked so well!!! It was gentle on my little guy and I used a good amount to lather him up. It also smelled good. It wasn't overpowering at all or had a chemical stench. In fact, he pretty much smelled like his usually self, but nicer. I've shampooed him only 4 times since I've received it (doing it every 3 days) and he looks great. He's back to his normal self. Whatever skin condition your pet has, this will help. And it is safe enough to use - even on a 160gram, delicate, litte hammie.

Great for rats and other small pets too!
So my husband and I decided that since we can't get a cat or dog at our current apartment, we'd get two pet rats. Well, everything was great until about a week later I had ringworm all over my hands and arms. One of our rats had ringworm, which spread to the other rat and, in turn, to me! I found absolutely nothing meant specifically for rats online, and Google the All-knowing was even telling me to use the same cream I was using on my own ringworm for them. For those with furry animals of any kind, you know that's not an easy option, especially when you're not positive where the ringworm is exactly on their bodies and if they'll try to eat the cream off and get sick or even die from it. So I found this product after several hours of searching and, while it had no reviews for people using it on rats and was a bit pricey for not knowing if it would work or not, I went for it. Well, let me tell you, it cured my rats faster than my own ringworm treatment cured me! No joke, if I get ringworm again I might test this on myself, lol. I washed them twice a week for a month,l (after which it went away), then once a week for two months after that because I was paranoid it would come back. My biggest concern was how to hold them still for 10 mins after the bath while the stuff was left on them, but since they're so small it was actually quite easy to just wrap them up in a small towel with their head sticking out one and for air. I'd have to keep an eye out to make sure they didn't lick themselves, which they didn't do for the most part. They'd occasionally get a quick lick or two in before I could restrain them again, but I'm happy to say it didn't make them sick or cause any harm that I'm aware of (it's now been about 6 months and neither have cancer, so that's a good sign, right?). Then I'd wash them off and they'd be all set to go. A couple side notes: My rats, like most, have very sensitive noses. While this left a slight smell to their fur, it was actually not unpleasant and it did not cause them to sneeze or sniffle as other strong smells have in the past. Also, I've used various types of soaps and shampoos since then for their weekly baths, and none--not one!--has gotten rid of their dirty rat smell 100% like this product has! If the product weren't so expensive and if I weren't worried about using it long-term on my ratties, I would use it for their normal shampoo. It works wonders at getting rid of all the oils without making their fur and skin too dry and scratchy. Also, for rats you only need to use a tiny bit (like a teaspoons worth), so you'll have tons leftover. I'd say there's definitely enough to treat 2-6 kittens or small puppies in each bottle, but it'll depend on the size of the animal, hie conservative you are in how much you lather them with, and the seriousness of the ringworm. There's enough to treat 6-15 grown rats, that's for sure! I imagine this works just as well on any other small animal, and couldn't recommend it enough!

Works I think?
It’s pretty strong and dries the skin. I got this because the dog has recurring yeast issues on the skin and allergies. This helps with the yeast problem.

Poor pup! The right rear foot was so swollen ...
Combined Davis benzoyl peroxide, chlorhexidine, and miconazone shampoos into one to finally tame my Chihuaua's whole body fungal infection. Somehow, her immune system had gotten depressed, developed fungus on paws and in ears, and fur smelled skunky. Bathing in antifungal shampoos helped a little, soaking feet in apple cider vinegar helped a little, soaking in povidine-iodine helped a little, applying Chlotrimazole cream helped a bit, but nothing quite knocked it out. Paws were verrry swollen and itchy, and she licked every last hair off them. Even after bathing the underside webbing of the paws felt slimy. Based on obvious signs of fungus, combined with hot spot sores, slimy areas, I concluded she was afflicted with several issues simultaneously. Poor pup! The right rear foot was so swollen from the fungus she couldn't put weight on it. The slimy patches were a combination of biofilm and layer of dead fungus that compromised ability of medications from killing fungus. Combining the shampoos simultaneously targeted mange (skunky smell), fungus, and bacterial infection. I lightly scrubbed slimy areas with a small child's toothbrush dipped in shampoo to mechanically remove the biofilm, then lathered a second time with my concoction, let it sit for a couple minutes before rinsing. Repeated the shampoo ritual twice a week on the whole body, twice a day (morning and evening) on the paws. Almost immediately her condition improved. Still dabbed a bit of 2% hydrocortizone cream to the paws and under the tail to tame the itch. After 3 week all the fungus was gone, biofilm gone, swelling in all paws gone except for a bit in the right rear, fur growing back. Couple more weeks and the last of the swelling on the right rear was gone, all paws had fur on them again. Still shampoo her twice a week with the concoction to prevent recurrence (skip the brushing though), she smells wonderful, is much happier, walks and jumps normally. The key was attacking all 3 sources of irritation simultaneously by mixing the medicated shampoos, and ALSO removing the biofilm so the shampoos could work effectively.

Works
My dog had an allergic reaction to another dog shampoo and his hair fell out. This cleared it up and grew back his hair.

Pet shampoo
The shampoo does great on my dogs and cats, they don’t get baths very often but when they do, it leaves their hair very soft and they smell really good.

Great shampoo!
Got it for my Miniature Poodle who is currently dealing with ringworm. I followed the application instructions and waited 10 minutes for the shampoo to settle into his skin before finally rinsing it off. Tried this shampoo for the first time and it softened the dry scabs so they were able to fall off while rinsing my Poodle. Since it was only the first application, I have to wait and see the results after the next few times of applying.

Effective. Good product
Effective. I used it on my guinea pigs for ringworms and it was highly effective. Washed them every 2-3 days and I could see improvement after every wash. Now I have it on my guinea pig first-aid kit. Recommend

The bottle has leakage
The products which I received has leakage. I tried to return it but it says item not eligible for return. It’s so unfair if the supplier will mot replace my product since it is a bit pricey.
