WOW - Amazing!!!
About 10 months ago I installed a stainless steel liner from our wood stove insert as previous homeowner just vented the stove into the chimney. I could tell I needed to clean my liner as I noticed buildup around the top cap of the stove pipe when cleaning the gutters. WOW - this kit was so easy to use and I love the flexible extension pieces, like tent poles. I started with one piece on my drill to get the hang of it, clean as a whistle, then added extension pieces as I went. HOLY COW - I didn't realize how much build up there was. Before cleaning the liner, I cleaned my stove of ashes and got the weekly normal about, about 1/3 of a 5 gallon bucket of ashes. I then cleaned out the build up that fell into the stove, it was nearly 1/2 of a 5 gallon bucket. So glad I cleaned the liner out. Upon inspection with a flashlight, no buildup. The whip head cleans all the grooves in the liner (liner is like a large dryer hose). What I've noticed since the clean up, the fire seems to burn more efficiently now with more heat...not sure how that makes sense, but I'll take it. Very happy with this purchase, simple/easy to use and save me $$$ over calling a chimney company to schedule a cleaning. I plan to clean the liner twice a year...in the spring after we are most done with wood heat then again in the fall before we start using full time to ensure a clean liner. This also helps reduce any fire risk associated with the buildup. I've seen the results of not cleaning a liner with friends that had chimney fires. Don't mess around with this risk, order this kit and get to cleaning.

A+ DIY Chimney Sweeper
Gets the job done, sturdy design, well made. I cleaned 2 very tall chimeys in my Cali Contemporary style home (modern 70’s style with lots of angles), and it worked like a champ! I have to admit I was a bit sceptical when I first looked at it though, but surprisingly its high quality. I also like the fact that if theres too much torque on your drill the poles seem to detach themselves instead of snapping, thats a HUGE design plus for these poles and the metal snap-in fit they have. These poles are also very flexible, handled an extreme 90 degree angle pipe like it was made for the glory. Thusly, I highly recommend this device. Its a dirty job though, so have a vac handy with a filter and bag designed for ashes and fine debris. And this kit also comes with gloves and a cleaning sponge, whoah! Thats a nice touch, I really liked seeing that because it left me with the impression that the folks msking this product are thinking through the process thoroughly. Thats a winner. Nice product, was glad to find it on Amazon at a great price and that its well made, so I’ll be able to use it again in the future. A+

works well if you have some DIY skills
I am an almost 80, pretty skilled DIYer. Just cleaned my Buck Stove 24 ft flue (multiwalled stove pipe). This product is simple to use and worked well and it was not hard to retain the dirt and dust generated. Took me less than 30 minutes to do the cleaning. I used a corded 3/8" drill to drive it. Had to take out and reinstall a couple liners in the stove box roof to access the flue - that took more time than the cleaning. I can see that this might be too much for some people. Very good investment for me vs hiring a pro.

Magic!!
Oh how I wish I had taken a picture of all of the creosote that came out of the chimney when my husband used this chimney cleaner! I would have shared it in this review!! It was about half a bucket full of pure fine black dust! I didn’t think that was possible. I understand how fire places may cause fires now. Functionally: the chimney cleaner did a fantastic job. It came with everything including the rods as advertised. We already had the drill so we didn’t buy one. However, if you don’t have the drill, I would recommend that you buy a set of chimney cleaner that comes with a drill. This was well worth the cost! Prior to buying this chimney cleaner, we called a few places to get estimates on the cost of cleaning our chimney. The lowest quote ran around $170.00. You’re smart so just do the math. We’ve only had and used this chimney sweeper for a short time, however, it is sturdy and seems durable. It was super easy to use and fool proof. The bristles did not lose their shape after cleaning the chimney which is great. My husband tested a small section of the chimney for effectiveness prior to using and said that the section of the chimney that he could see was not scratched when he tested the chimney cleaner prior to completing the full cleaning.

Safe and easy
Better quality than expected, worked very well, rods went together and came apart perfectly. May not be as thorough as a professional cleaning, but 100 times cheaper, and it was nice to clean my chimney from my basement instead of my roof. Now I'll do it more often. In the spring I'll do it with my old wire brush to see if much was left behind, if not, I'll never get up on my roof again.

You can't afford to ignore the benefits of this tool.
We are very pleased with this work saver and the safety benefits from it's use. Aside from the obvious benefit of a clean chimney, this tool kept us off of a very high and very steep roof. The tool worked so well that we will not delay in cleaning the chimney more often. The highly flexible shafts allowed us to enter through the firebox and continue past an offset till we reached the cap. Our particular stove required removing the baffle plates and fire blanket to gain access to the chimney. We will be encouraging our friends and family to take advantage of this tool.

Definitely the best option for a DIY solution. I hadn't realised the number of "long" screws used to connect the flue together until I did a post clean inspection with a workshop endoscope. The design of the Vevor Flexible Chimney Sweep rods and brush meant it was able to navigate the twist and turns of the flue whilst also being able to get past the protruding screws with a little coaxing. The screws made a good go of damaging the head of the brush but it is more than robust enough and shaped to reduce getting snagged. When I found a section where the brush didn't move up cleanly I turned off the drill, uncoupled the rod and manually manipulated it past the screws before continuing. I found it best when adding a rod to manually run it up and down the flue to get and idea of potential obstructions before attaching to the drill. The button connections made this a very easy and quick process cf a screw in version. It made short work of any build up (I use flue cleaning powder periodically so this may have made the job easier as creosote was more brittle and definitely not sticky). Post clean inspection was spotless and looked like new. Very impressed as it was relatively easy to do. Only gripe is the ease of buying further lengths of rod. I would say you're better off erring towards over estimating the amount you will need. I used various methods of measurement and thought 23ft would be more than enough, sadly apparently not. Money well spent for improved efficiency, cleaner burning and peace of mind.
