These are really great little lights for a very reasonable price. The brightness is brilliant and the different options of light are good too though I prefer them just on solid colour some of the settings are a bit much with the flashing but doesn’t matter as you don’t have to have it fast flashing. The remote works well and you probably have about 3-5 metres between you and the lights to be able to use the remote control, timer works as it should. Originally had them outside around the gazebo but with the colder, windier weather we’ve taken it down so have brought them in and out them in the bedroom for a bit of colour. Worked perfect out in the cold wind and rain and didn’t have any problem with water getting in them. Very pleased and highly recommend. The actual bulbs aren’t too small but not big and bulky either just right. You get more than enough lights too. 10 metres covers a nice sized area!

First thoughts: °the little bulbs are made from thick plastic and the wires is protected by plastic coating to making it durable and weather proof. °With the plastic being thick it does not take away from the brightness, also the plastic is Matt which doesn’t make it look tacky and cheap. °The colours are vibrant and pop out. °The remote is very handy it reaches good distance, also if you loose your remote not to worry because it has a little button inside the battery pack which pretty much functions as an remote. °You can set a timer which I think is a pretty useful feature. Overall extremely well made and I would defiantly recommend. The length on the lights and spacing is perfect . There’s a few modes that you can have the lights for example : strobe, flashing, slow transitions e.c.t. Great value for money

These lights looked spectacular at Christmas on one of our big trees in the garden. The remote control is fantastic and gives the option of 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours to automatically come on for as well as 8 different functions. Only used two sets of batteries in three weeks and the second set were still glowing OK - they were on 8 hours every evening. But - when I took them down off the tree the wires going into the little 'bulbs' are rusty - in just three weeks though they were advertised as 100% weatherproof. I've taken them indoors to dry them out in hope they work next Christmas.

These lights are great value for money. Remote control with various lighting options. I used them at a Christmas craft fair and they really helped illuminate my crafts, I bought 2 sets, only needed the 1 set but these will also be good to use as extra lights where no sockets are available as they're battery operated. Photos don't do them justice. I'll be using these as extra christmas lights indoors too. Would recommend both the lights and the seller

The first set of these I bought worked fine, really impressed with them. Fir some reason, the second set appear to operate, but mysteriously go off after around 50mins in timer mod (should stay on around six hours). The 'good' set stay off 16 hours (ie daytime) as they should, but the second/faulty set switch on and off again erratically, theres no set timing or pattern to it. My attempts to contact Amazon have only got as far as 'return for refund, refund will only be processed when item is received', well, thanks, i would have preferred a replacement (prefereably working) set but didn't feel like paying for another one upfront (yes, I know it's only £12pounds!). For what these must cost, It might have been practical to send out a replacement set before Christmas, I'm only relieved thsi wasn't an expensive item, because this hasn't been my finest experience of Amazon customer services. I've bought many items through Amazon and had very little trouble with anything so far, I hope i've just been unlucky in this case.

Bulbs are small and not very bright, more like soft lighting. I doubled mine up with a second pack/layer to brighten the light. The same remote control works for both packs. The bulbs looks very white during the day (don’t blend in with garden) but at night make the garden look very cosy with nice soft lighting for outdoor entertaining (useful for COVID social restrictions) Definitely rain proof as mine still work despite wet English weather.

UPDATE DO NOT PURCHASE FOR OUTDOOR USE lights stopped working all together less than a month after purchasing and the battery box had flooded with water from the rain . Tried different brands of batteries in these but still go very dull and die after a few days of having them on a timer function. I thought at first it was due to using Asda own brand and they weren’t powerful enough but have since tried Duracell batteries and still have the same problem. The timer function works when it feels like it which, although it is a pain, can be managed with the remote control. just a shame I have to keep going out in the freezing cold on the balcony to change the batteries all the time Also would be handy for it to have stated that these are a warm white and not very bright. Bought them to match the lights on the Xmas tree and they are completely different
