X-Stream 5" Twin Pack is great first Plane for pre schoolers and up.
My 3.5 year old grandson loves the red plane. I am keeping the 2nd at my house for when he comes here. It seems very rugged, and I expect it to hold up well. It flies a long distance, and he was able to learn to hold the launcher easily. All in all it is a great inexpensive plant that should provide hours of fun.

Flawed Design..Does not work
Flawed design. Front heavy and the craft doesn't stay in flight like they show in the marketing video. It Does Not work when you throw with your hand. The launcher rubber broke almost immediately.Save yourselves the trouble and look somewhere else. Typical "Made in China" crap.

Smaller than you'd think, flies fine
Keep in mind that it's much smaller than you might think. It's plenty fun, but for bigger hands it can be hard to grip when pulling back. The X-9 plane is much more substantial and just feels better in the hand.Pro Tip: Don't pull back on the rubber band too hard, the plane flies straighter and longer if you release it gently

Cool design
My son played with this for hours, These foam planes are sturdy, The rubber band may need replacing from time to time on the launcher.

good idea with sub par quality
new these items glide very well. They provide a good amount of speed, distance and safety in a small wing span. Problems develop quickly though, because the prepulsion clip on the plane's nose is glued on, breaks, and renders the gliders useless. The worst pain for a child is when a fun toy breaks.

More like rockets
They fly, but they aren't like the slow balsa-wood gliders. They are more like projectiles. If you toss them by hand, you really need to get them going before they will fly nicely. Same thing with the rubber band launcher. If you don't give them enough oomph they will sort of tumble instead. That said, when you get them going, they go far. I think sometimes they fly more upside-down than right side up, but they still go. Took a little bit of instruction for our 4 year old to figure out how to use the launcher, but now that he has the hang of it he'll launch them across 2 rooms of the house, so we probably need to take them outside now. They were a little bit smaller than I imagined, but it does say 5" in the description. They seem pretty durable, but I don't think they'll last forever. They should last a lot longer than balsa wood.

Very simple but fun toy. The only thing that breaks is the rubber band and that is an easy fix. Great flight distance, haven't tried them underwater yet.
