The biggest size is 14" by 19" ( 36cm by 49cm ) .I have tried a fleece in it - it fits !

Would the largest bag fit a heavy (ish) bridesmaid dress?

It is 54cm/21inch in length and 34cm/13.5inch in width. It should fit it if the dress is not to big.

Could the bags fit a shoe box?

No they don’t fit a shoe box in them - infact it’s not even close!! I don’t know why someone has said they would, I now have to order another set of bags that are larger because of this answer!
