My husband (who's from Jamaica) knew this wasn't the original, thick super strong smelling Healing Oil he's use to. So we didn't think it would do much. Surprisingly, I think it's just as effective. I sprained my knee and used this oil(warmed, rubbed gently onto the knee, and covered with a warm, damp towel) in the rehabilitation-and it helped cut down the pain and swelling more than if I hadn't used it. We bought one more.

I had high hopes for this oil. It has the strong smell of turpentine and nothing else. This is not a pleasant smell. It does penetrate the skin quickly and once it was on my hands I could immediately taste it. I rubbed it on my lower back and a short time after my eyes were not focusing and I became disoriented. This is not for everyone. I recommend trying it on a small patch of skin and waiting a few hours. The ingredients are listed as Camphor, Spirit Turpentine and Eucalyptus. It is all turpentine in my opinion. Will never buy this again.
