Purchased this unit as a travel version of my favorite desktop mouse, the Logitech M570...At first the price threw me a bit. But I figured with Amazon, I could always return it if I wasn’t satisfied...What I was looking for was a mini-version that would fit more conveniently in a small bag with a laptop or tablet.First of all the build quality is AMAZING!!! It is so far Superior to the Logitech, or the old Microsoft mouse I learned on, it’s not even funny! It is actually a Japanese designed product (although it’s made in China like everything else these days…) when I first opened it and saw how small it was I was extremely happy that it will be very packable, although I was also worried that it might not fit the hand very well- the ball is so much smaller than on the Logitech. But the ergonomics are absolutely fantastic!!! The keys are silent- no ”clacking”, and the track ball is so smooth there is no other comparison! Absolutely seamless operation with MacBook Air and iPad Pro… (on the IPad it worked immediately! The only issue I had was needing to download a driver-only needed to customize keys for the laptop- challenging until I used the name printed on the mouse, “Bitra”, “Elecom” can also be searched as it is apparently the company that is handling US marketing. Also the direction of the scroll-wheel is opposite out of the box from the one I learned on, but finding the “Natural” scrolling direction toggle on Apple products and turning that off immediately restored it to “the right way“!) Comes with an extremely well-made case, which I replaced as it was too large for putting in a small bag- but it would make a great storage or shipping case. So satisfied- I seriously don’t think I will ever use the larger version of this mouse ever again as long as this one is available!!! Worth every penny! If you’re like me and can’t see moving your hand around on a desktop like an idiot and Have gotten accustomed to this style of mouse don’t hesitate to purchase!!!👍😁

I really wanted to like this compact mouse. Most trackballs are too large and Logi has actually made their already large mouse even larger (ouch on the palm). I initially was really loving this mouse. But the left click accidentally gets hit frequently because it's so easy to depress and doesn't allow for slight pressure while the hand is resting on the mouse in a functional manner. Also, and most troubling, the ball is slightly loose in the receptacle so that when you position the pointer and go to click, the pointer has moved due to the ball falling slightly when you let go of it. So sad this is not a better made product. I would definitely buy several for work, home, and travel should they bring the quality up to the price. The idea is fantastic but the actual application is disappointing.

I kind of wanted to give this a 5, but just couldn't quite. Here are the negatives which prevent my giving it that score: 1) must remove the battery cover to take out the dongle - I have seen much better designs, 2) I feel like it will probably break easily if dropped (not tested yet!), 3) Despite adjusting the settings, it cannot cannot control my cursor as well as my old Logitech TrackMan Wheel (I didn't expect it to, but...), 4) My hand gets tired using it, which never happens with the TrackMan (may not be an issue for someone with smaller hands). By the way, my TrackMan is very old and has survived many, many drops. I have even taken it apart and fixed it after one of these drops. The good: 1) Lots of nice, well placed buttons that worked from the start doing what I wanted them to do, 2) does its job in a nice looking very small package, very portable, 3) quick and easy connection - no issues - ever, 4) comes with a very nice case that fits like a glove and is more that adequate to protect it for travel in my computer backpack. Overall - I wanted a tiny, portable, wireless trackball mouse, and I found a high quality one.

I bought this to use as a portable trackball mouse to keep in my bag, and the size is great for that purpose (be prepared that your palm will need to over above the actual device, with just your fingertips actually touching it: It's _small_).However, I will be returning this product because of two issues:1) The buttons are really mushy to the point where you can't really feel if you've pressed them or not. This is especially prominent in the middle click (which is also incredibly stiff!) and the "back" button on the side.2) The out-of-the-box sensitivity for the trackball is insane. Even when toggling to the low-sensitivity setting using the switch under the mouse wheel, it's very hard to use this with any sort of precision. I'm comparing this to a Logitech M570, which I had no problem using for precision work. This problem is made worse by the high stiction of the ball due to the poor bearings (a well-known problem with Elecom mice), making small movements difficult.

I prefer trackballs over regular mouse or pads. I currently work from home and do a lot of traveling and have to chart/document. This trackball fits my hand well, is small enough to pack in my computer bag, and has the case so I don't have to worry about damage. The trackball is very responsive, the button are comfortable and responsive, and no-clicking sound is nice, although doesn't effect my use. I really like this trackball - I tried the Relacon and it was not comfortable at all to use. Definitely recommend the Bitra!

Pretty decent mouse for the money. Only thing i can really complain about is when using the trackball not on the higher sensitivity setting, good luck clicking on anything. Also, when using the trackball, it almost feels like it is getting stuck. Works for what i need it to though so that’s good.

小型のトラックボールというニッチな需要を満たしてくれているという点だけで、まず満足です。持ち運び性能に関しては文句なし。ただ、同梱されているケースで持ち運ぶ人は、あまりいないと思います。折角の小型メリットを潰してしまうので…。操作性について、どうしてもM570と比較してしまうため良いとは言えませんが、小型ということを考えれば十分及第点です。他の方のレビューを見ると「ボールの引っかかり」を指摘しているものが多いですが、トラックボールを使う上でメンテナンスはマストだと思っています。私はギター用の指板潤滑剤を使っていますが、その一手間でひっかかりとは無縁になれます。一方で、不満点として…まず、左クリックの構造上の問題でドラッグ&ドロップが非常にやりにくいです。具体的には、指がはみ出してしまうくらい短いため力が入らず、意識的に強くクリックし続けないとドラッグが解除されてしまいます。小型化とのトレードオフなので、これは慣れるしかないです。もう一点は、サイドボタンの構造です。押しやすく大きく作ったのかと思いますが、この大きさは絶対に要りません…。トラックボールを操作している時に、触れて誤作動することが多々…。また、それ以上にトラックボールを持ち上げようとする時にここにボタンがあるせいで持つところがありません…。ちょっと持ち上げようかな？なんて時に必ず戻るボタンに触れてしまいます。電源を切るために裏返す動作ですら、戻るボタンをカチっと…。立ちながらトラックボールを使ってプレゼン…という機会が結構あるのですが、このサイドボタンのせいでそれは実質不可能です。何故、ここにこのサイズを配置したのか、エレコムさん…。

Ich muss mehrere Stunden in der Woche mit meinem Laptop auf dem Schoß auf engstem Raum arbeiten. Da ich Trackballs liebe, war ich auf der Suche nach einem kleinen Trackball, der auf meinem Schoß/Laptop noch Platz hat und mich nicht beim Tippen behindert. Dieser Trackball erfüllt diese Aufgabe mit Bravour. Er ist auch in technischer Hinsicht ein hervorragender Ersatz für meinen High-End Trackball von Logitech am Schreibtisch. Dadurch, dass er so klein ist und ich ihn locker mit meiner Hand umfassen kann, habe ich mit dem Daumen auch volle Kontrolle über den Trackball und finde, dass ich ihn wunderbar steuern kann. Ich habe noch nicht erlebt, dass er unpräzise wäre oder sich weniger gut hätte steuern lassen als mein Logitech Trackball. Auf dem Schreibtisch ist mir der große Trackball lieber, aber für unterwegs ist dieser hier hervorragend!

I bought this ergonomic mouse as I needed an ergonomic trackball mouse that is easily portable, now that I started going to the office occasionally. In terms of size, it met my expectation, but the quality of this product is nowhere close to what I am used to with Logitech trackball - it is not moving very smoothly and after only few times using it, ball fell out of it’s place. I was ready to return it, but missed my return window. I continue using it, but I am not at all impressed - it is supposed to support ergonomic needs and I would not say it does ( unfortunately) .

Being a great fan of TrackBalls, this is a great travel track ball.My home trackball is a Logitech M570 but it's a bit too big to travel with. I'm very happy with the bitra product.
