Fit my craftsman 178cc snow blower perfectly, no issues, fired up first pull.

First, this was much less expensive than expected and the listing made it easy to check whether it was the right part because it gave all the snow thrower model numbers on which it would fit. Replacing the carb on my snow thrower is easy, but removing all the cowls and panels to get to the old carb is a PITA, but that isn’t the fault of this part. Once those are removed, this part just falls into place.Best part is that it fixed my starting problem and the snow thrower works better than it has since it was new fifteen years ago.

I’ve had this for over a year waiting to put on my not starting snowblower. Put on my snowblower and it surprisingly fired right up. Wish the tube for the primer button was longer, wound up reusing old. And wish it came with a choke switch handle. I had to modify the old one to fit this one.

Needed a carb quickly to revive a dead snowblower before snow storm. Install was simple and everything lined up perfectly. Everything needed was included and once installed, snowblower started up in 1 pull and has been working perfectly since. Definitely recommend

I put the carburetor on my snowblower and it started right up. Worked great

. . . . pain because they are used little and carbs can "plug" with old gas and such. Yes, I know they should be drained or additives put in, but . . . . oops. This carb fit, has the right price, and the install was a pain a bit, but that's more a design/manufacturing issue. Worked well.Now, if I could only figure out where that leftover bolt went . . . the long one.
