I just received this item yesterday and used it for the first time last night and I can already say I'm impressed. I stopped using my son's humidifier almost a year ago, because I hated replacing the filters and it was ridiculously complicated to clean (first world problem, I know.) I've typically been fine using a regular diffuser, but lately he's had a terrible cough at night that causes him to wake up during his coughing fits and his regular diffuser wasn't enough. So pretty much, neither he nor I have been sleeping. So I found this diffuser/humidifier combo and thought it was worth a try and boy was it! My son didn't cough once last night! It's a super cute design that fits right into my toddler's room and the best part is that it's incredibly easy to clean. Now, I will say I've only used it once, so I can't attest to the long-term durability, but it seems sturdy and well made. If for some reason I would need to update this review (although I suspect I won't need to), I will.

I had to share this-- BEST diffusers EVER! I recommend them to EVERYONE who uses essential oils. We grabbed 2 of the chicken since they were on sale(or just less) than the other animals. Cute and oddly doesn't look too bad in our room or in the kitchen where I had it today LOL. The water bottle feature on top is AMAZING! I tested it out and put a full water bottle around 8pm when my son went to bed.... it ran through the night with his lavender and it was STILL running at 6pm the following evening when I stopped it to clean and change oils. I love them and would buy 10 more!!! I spent twice this through my EO company for a diffuser that I do love, but that only runs for up to 4 hours. These are amazing!

It's a little smaller than i expected and doesn't seem to release a lot of mist (i shouldve read the dimensions.) Overall it is very cute, sturdy, and perfect for my newborns nursery. I do like that you have an option to use a water bottle or just pour water directly into it. Just bought kidsafe essential oil to try the oil diffusing part, but so far so good as a humidifier (:

This little thing is so adorable. Fits in perfectly in my 2 year olds room and she loves little chicks. As other have said sometimes i have to click the button a couple of times to get it to turn on but so far so good. I am able to see the cool mist coming out of the beak. Great product.

Really liked that the device didn't glow a bright blue when not using the added water bottle.Blue "on" light was easily covered at night. Unfortunately, the stream of mist is not powerful enough and there is no way to adjust the output.

Update: DO NOT BUY! Bad mold issue and breaks down easily. Since my last review, our first duck broke down and they sent us a new one. We've only used it a few times this fall and noticed black chunks coming out of the duck. I looked under the duck and it's disgusting. There was a gob of black dirt/mob specks on the bottom. We clean it frequently too because I'm kind of a clean freak. And this is after just a few uses? Can't believe this is a baby product. Ewww!Original review:It's really cute... and really small (I should have paid closer attention to the size description). The water bottle I tried didn't fit the top and for almost $40, it's just too pricey for what it is. If you want something cute for kid's room, then maybe this will work for you. But in our dry climate, I need something a bit more powerful.

This is a super cute diffuser and humidifier combo and it has worked great for my son's room. The only thing I wish is that it had an auto shutoff and I didn't have to remember to come back and turn it off again.

One of the plastic parts broke already but very handy size wise for my daughter's room when I need to diffuse peppermint during allergy seasons.

This has been a great product so far. Mine mists. I've been using it all week as a diffuser and the last day as a humidifier with the water bottle attachment.
