Now that the weather is warming up, toppers vs. full wigs are much more comfortable but they've never really felt secure and the clips can hurt. This little miracle works great to keep the topper secure and comfortable. Some reviews say it doesn't work well, but you have to make sure you put it on with the velvet going the right direction so it "grips" your hair. If it slips, just turn the band the other way and voila!

This thing is amazing. I have a small head and most wigs caps are large for my head. I have tried the silicone bands which worked okay but I still needed to use bobby pins or a headband to make my wig feel really secure. I received this today and was not expecting much as I have tried many different wig grips. This thing like sucked my wig to my head and it's comfortable. What I like the best is it's not the same width all the way around like your silicone ones which I am always trying to tuck the sides up inside my wig so it does not show if I wear my wig up or behind my ears. Thus tucking the wig band up above my ears under my wig the silicone band lost some of its grip so in come the bobby pins and head bands. The band is wide where it grips my wig at the front and then there is a stretchy very thin almost like the string you use for making jewelry. When I first opened it I though oh great looks like fishing line!!! LOL But when I used it and tugged on my wig I was amazed. It did not budge. I'm glad I took a chance and paid the extra price. Just hope it holds up. I guess time will tell but right now I am totally impressed with this wig grip.

Pros: an alternative to larger grips. Made well. Price/value.Cons: It did not work for me at all. Not comfortable. Your occipital bone must bump out enough to keep this from riding up. The filament shows if there's wind or lighter density hair help. Not inexpensive.I had high hopes, but it doesn't work for everyone.

Does what it says it will. Keeps my topper from slipping back and I can wear it without clips or tape. But the string is way too short. I might have a slightly larger than average head, but it's not THAT big. I have to extend the string all the way and it still feels a bit too tight after wearing it for a while. Hoping it stretches out some.Other than that, I just wish they made them in ivory or something for us super pale ladies. I added some baby powder and a bit of blush to the beige velvet, but it's still a bit too dark for me.Would be 5 stars with a longer string and a lighter color option.

Topper is more secure in addition to being more comfortable. Even when combing through the hair, it stays put making it appear more natural.

The first Top Grip I ordered was too large. It came with loops to cover the clips which I greatly appreciate. The second Top Grip is a size small. The shiny metal hooks still show and NO LOOPS. It came with buttonholes. I’m working on adjustments. Still, great idea! 👍

Even though I ordered the small size, it doesn't come close to fitting. My topper doesn't have a front clip and the side clips are less than 3 inches apart whereas the small comfort band gripper holes are some 4 inches apart. (See pic showing fold this creates in the band, creating a lump under my topper so I can't wear it.) Worse, even though you don't have to use the clips to grip your hair, the closed teeth of them are still pressed against your head, which hurts. Further, the triangular hardware attachments for the translucent band extend out from the comfort band where they can be felt and could even potentially be seen. While Milano's idea is good, it needs a major redesign that 1) positions the clips between the topper and the comfort band so they aren't right on your scalp, 2) locates the attachment hardware for the translucent band under the topper so it doesn't show, and make it in a lot more sizes to be useful and comfortable for everybody.

Fits better than a full band for me. It's a little hard to move the little ball to size it but it works.
