This product is perfect for my projects. It stiffens the material without flaking or yellowing. My pieces were stiff without yellowing or flaking or changing the color of my material/cloth. I had to scrunch my pieces before hardening but with the consistency of glue it molded quickly. I used brushed and fingers and was able to get good coverage. I am so glad found this product. A little goes a long way. .

Dried clear

I tried this on leather and on fabric. It is smooth and easy to apply. Once dry it did make the materials stiffer, but there was still quite a bit of flexibility and movement. A second coat did not improve the situation very much. If you bend it, it does crack a little, but doesn’t peel or chip off. When I used it on the fabric, it did turn the fabric a bit darker, mostly because the fabric absorbed the liquid. I was hoping for it to make the materials very stiff, almost hard, so it did not work for my purposes, even with a second coat. Now, it would appear I am stuck with a large bottle of expensive stiffener that I have no use for as I would guess I can’t return an open container (although I have not checked the return policy yet).

Works very much like any other fabric hardener, but MUCH more expensive. Not rock hard as you would expect from the product description.

I tried this product for a halloween project, and the hardener took a long time to dry, and the fabric I used (cotton) did not give me the stiffness I needed. I really cannot recommend this product. My solution was to use a resin based activated liquid to soak the fabric with a working time of 9 minutes. it was a little mess
